J Cole chin checkin Kanye & Wale? VOL False Prophets

J. Cole should've dissed Future and Drake. More towards Future though

 whats wrong with this *****

Nice little freestyles but are we gonna pretend we wanna hear J. Cole talk student loans, loving being broke and losing his virginity for an hour for yet another time?

J. Cole is great at rapping but he doesn't really entertain me/isn't really that interesting.

I used to be a huge Cole fan around FNL but it seems he peaked with that.

You could replace J. Cole with Meek Mill and that same theory could apply.

The truth and what we "see" are never the same in rap. All these ****** are fake friends.

Look at Oschino revealing that State Property didn't even know each other...they all met for the first time at Hot 97. Look at Cam on Angie saying that him and Jim were never that close and that they were always business parters from the jump.
Nah b when drake came out on Coles last tour he talked about them being brothers and wanting to be at Coles wedding. lol they defintely are close.

And the Wale thing is true, dude always complaining when there are millions who would love to be in his position, getting paid millions to do what he loves and on top of that, is relatively at least Top 10-15 most popular in said field.

However Cole should have definitely addressed that privately but I guess friendship and **** goes out the window when you're running out of things to rap about.

Dude picked two current easy targets.

Grimey is odd with constantly bringing up Future, but if he really wanted to get to the root of ghostwriting and mumble rap why not go after the two dudes who made both of those things respectively acceptable this decade? Who coincidentally are also probably two of the top 5 biggest rappers out and definitely more formidable targets than an insane bipolar manic depressive who isn't even really 100% focused on music and...Wale

Why would he go at Future when Future came in doing his own thing. He made it clear he was going at these create a trap rapper dudes that jumping on what's popular.

This for the most part.

What Are the Drake shots? Not writing your own raps part? Figure that was geared at Ye still since it was in that verse, or did say something else i missed?

Ya'll ain't watching this **** correctly. Don't forget who Cole is signed to.

Son played the background for the whole year and stayed out of sight while all ya'll favorite rappers was out here being instagram thots. He come out of nowhere with what's basically 2 freestyles, and just went at the most famous ****** in rap and now everybody watching. Oh, and btw new album on Tidal in a week. That's a business move. If you really believe Jay is this great thinker (which it seems like most of us agree he is)  you have to see that this isn't just J. Cole. This is J. Cole with Jay in his corner vs. Everybody. Jay isn't stupid. We all saw him do the same things. You make direct disses and you make sub disses. Set the bait...and if ****** fall for it...take his crown. We all know Drake's writing is a major topic of discussion. So is Kanye. Why would I diss one rapper for something, that my "friend" does too?

That's like having two fat friends, and I point at them and say "yall some fat *******"...but I only mean it to one of them

So all that "best friend" **** ya'll think they on...quote me when the inevitable happens and diss records start flying.

Attention = Money

Drake also just brought him out at one of his four Madison Square Garden shows in early August and referred to him as one of the most legendary artists of our generation.

None of that negates that bar from being about him, but it seems more like it just coincidentally being applicable while still being targeted at Ye.

This was dope.

I liked it and appreciate Cole for the realness.

But when Ye eventually claps back it's not gonna be vague at all  Won't even matter if we find out later Ye aint even right it

Cole just salty he didn't get any ye beats yet
yeah, it needed to be said & Cole was the perfect person to say it cause there would be probably minimal backlash with him

but it low key is a straight up marketing attempt. It's kind of wack that he waits til Kanye's at is lowest to say it, not to mention that Ye really hasn't acknowledged him in years

I appreciate the fast response from Wale

I think Wale's "ambition" inspires him and fuels his music, the same way it fuels Russ or it did Mike or Kobe. It causes him to make better and more introspective music.

Kanye, it's caused him to become more weirdo along with his music.

Wale=[emoji]127805[/emoji][emoji]127805[/emoji][emoji]127805[/emoji] on that one.

Basically a whole lot of "yeah you right",& complaining about his light weight issues.

Really I aint a fan of neither cole or wale, both mediocre/recycled artist, but in regards to this , Cole>>>Wale..

Wale need to have a seat

Let Cole and Ye box in the ring by themselves.
Jay is a true chess player. He's sending his Bishop to attack the black King while he's cornered. It's a bout to be checkmate

Jay know Cole is good, but needs Wale on top to fully attack Drake and take over.

Wale got it.

Glad he took it straight to wax with rap instead of posting on twitter/ig.

Dude gets in his own way with the rants, but I can only fault him so much. Dude's passionate about a culture, but the culture rewards mediocrity sometimes. I get it. Hopefully he's learned from the past and will stick to rapping from here on. Still waiting for SHiNE. And TAAN was the best album of 2015. Idc Idc idmfc.

Naw let's let rappers who write their own raps have a friendly spar

TAAN was easily the best album of 2015, wale and Cole made magic with the pessimist
