They said son was "larger". I mean I got a homeboy that's 6'6 250 and if he sprung his ankle and we're in a fire, either we both die or I got a chance to live.... I'm taking my chancesThere was 1 survivor that looked as if he had minor burns. Dude just left his friend who supposedly had a sprain ankle.
He just left him. Talking about it was too hot and the smoker was unbearable and I had to leave him. Couldn't carry him no longer.
Da ****? Smh put him on your back or at least try to drag him out. You just left him?
In a case like this, I would take my chances jumping out the window or running through the fire. I can't imagine dying a painful death like that. Sad
Plus there's a part of the entrance/exit that the stairs are literally some pallets stacked on top of each other.

That dude Bob Mule said there was something blocking his friend. He had a hold of him but just couldn't get him through a barrier. Coupled that with the fact dude is built like a tweaker.... he really had no chance of pulling out a body. If most of us broke our ankle during a fire we'd be able to hop out or even run out with the bum ankle with all the adrenaline pumping. The victim was most likely trapped by something.

Exactly. I'm not dying in a fire if I have a chance to get out. It's really that simple.
Would I try to help people? Absolutely. But if I saw that there wasn't anything I could do and that I had a small window to escape getting burned alive, I'm dipping without question. Only people I'm dying for are my family, and even some of them are questionable.

there werent a real pathway or clear exit. the place was cluttered with random walls and artwork. really tough to navigate even if it wasn't filled with smoke or fire

Only the lackey was acquitted. Hung jury on Almena which means he can (and almost certainly will) be retried, this time without having to implicate his #2.
Prosecution messed up there, seems like it would have been easier to reach a conviction on Almena alone.
There is fault everywhere but Almena didn't just organize a party. He's most culpable of all for the deaths imo.
