I have yet to go to a big city that had "good" traffic. I've been stuck on the 405 in LA before for what felt like an hour, same with the 202 in Phx.

Bergen County is dope.If I ever moved back to the tri state area I'm staying in Bergen County in NJ without a doubt.
Houston traffic is terrible too but not as bad as LA and Atlanta currently and NY traffic is fine you got so many other options if things clog up. Just don't get stuck midtown at the wrong time like rush hour

From what I heard, **** holes unless you are a college studentWhat are Syracuse and Buffalo like?
if a bomb hit and i had to go somewhere? New Rochelle, yonkers, or Mount Vernon.
Nah b, we don't want You up here.
The quality of life is only getting worse and the cost of living in nyc will continue to rise. If you dont like the "new" New York then either adapt or ****. NYC doesn't need or care about you.
Good for de Blasio. Cars have no place in any city,
What is the benefit of covertly ridding nyc of cars? That article read like lightweight conspiracy theory.
Ive driven around manhattan during rush hour and it wasnt that bad, i expected worse. Parking was much more of a hassle than actually driving.

Never understood why anyone would drive a car below like 86th street.
It's faster to take the train. Even walking is good, Manhattan is small.
not really, i drive everyday
There is a difference between encouraging pedestrian/public transport, and forcing people to get rid of their cars. Everything is not black and white. NY has among the highest rate of individuals who bike in the nation.not really, i drive everyday, its waaay faster to get to places by car... problem is da parking restrictions that make taking your car anywhere in midtown punitive.
what Deblasio is doing Basically destroying street flow by blocking off entire lanes for protected bike lane NO ONE USES in large numbers vs streets..creates bottle necks & major gridlock
its a liberal wet dream for people to get rid of their cars, i went to 5th ave downtown driving, and this rooster sucking Mayor got people designing streets that have buffer zones that eliminate entire lanes for no other reason than to "calm traffic" which is code word for bringing things to a snarl.

Mass transit = more annoying ***, slow *** people fighting for space in the smelly sardine cans that move at 5mph and frequently get stuck in between stations due to mysterious train traffic ahead even tho there hasn't been a train in the last 10 mjnutes. I don't like the idea.
ninjahood can you explain the strert parking situation in the city to me? When I drive down from CT for a knicks game, I always park in a meyers garage as I get it for 19 dollars. I am afraid to park on the streets as I have a feeling I will be towed with out of state plates. What signs should I look for to determine if a spot is ok to park in. Also, what do the "no standing" signs mean?

parking between 7am-6pm weekdays in midtown is reserved for commerical parking only... they'll give u a nice ticket if u so as much as chill in da spot.
