Life Expectancy In U.S. Drops For First Time In Decades, Report Finds

Everytime I hit the states im amazed how much advertising for pharmaceuticals are on the tv.
I am amazed at the portion sizes at every diner.
I am amazed by what men consider thick as opposed to obese or just painfully unathletic..
Yall have a real habit of normalizing poor behavior and then talking about your greatness.
Stay great Diabetes, stay great.

Just so you know, the people you love to side with in that other thread support this.

People are like current. They take the path of least resistance.

If you charge $5 for half a liter of soda, large fries, a double burger and a bag of apples goes for $6, it's not hard to guess what the people are going to eat.

If it takes 2 miles to get to the closest grocery store but there is a fast food joint on every corner of your neighborhood, people are not going to cook.

But let's blame Michelle for trying to promote healthy living and conscious eating.

How is that taking a kaepernick knee regarding health and food. There is a correlation between how much healthy food people eat and their economic income. It's a valid point

The blatant xenophobia by some of the guys here is unprecedented. Never have I experienced such ignorant behavior towards foreigners just trying to give their opinion. I'm both shocked and appalled.

YOU'RE THE SAME CLOWN THAT SAID I SHOULD LEAVE AMERICAN AND GO BACK TO WHERE I CAME FROM IF I COULD NOT EXPRESS MY LOVE FOR AMERICA.

Shut the **** up calling anyone xenophobic

Hypocrite.

We have public health crisis, disproportionately affecting out largest demographics. This is no surprise

White males been dropping like flies. At some point the would start dragging down the average. This can be easily reserved if the effort is put in, especially on the opioids. Heart diseases and obesity, not so much.

No. I said if you don't love America then you should leave. I said that to you as well as natural born Americans. It had nothing to do with you being an immigrant.

Y'all two never miss an opportunity to make a silly correlation vs. causation argument.

Miss me with your hypocrisy. If this article came out next month, you and your cronies would link Trump to it immediately.

Read the damb article.

The opioid epidemic and the threads in heart disease can't be peg to Obama, Bush, Clinton or any president. There are so many factors leading us to this place.

Throw in studying econometrics to, and you will learn about endogeneity.

Clearly, that could be related to the economic circumstances that many Americans have experienced in the last eight years, or so, since the recession," says Irma Elo, a sociologist at the University of Pennsylvania.

Aka the Obama economy.

You knew I was an immigrant, I said it repeatedly, and you repeatedly told me I should leave America. You were demanding over and over I say something I love about America.

Don't try to sugar coat your xenophobic buffoonery

It is completely going over your head that the key point of that comment is the recession.

You already admitted you don't know anything about economics, you're just doubling down on correlation argument.

Any economic expansion might make the situation look better, but unless the underlying causes are addressed, the fiscal policy proposals of no president will solve this problem.

This is the result of public health crisis, no matter you political leaning, the time for finger point is over. It is gonna take a massive effort on the Federal, State, and local level to fix the things causing this.

Heating up the economy, not matter the method, is not a panacea.

It had nothing to do with you being an immigrant. It was your perceived lack of patriotism. But at the end of it, you said what you loved about America and everything was cool.

You and your goons consistently love to tout the recovery as a success. This new study clearly flies in the face of that. Now you're just talking in circles because you refuse to accept the fact that economy is ****. And now it's so bad in fact, that it's killing seniors earlier. Millions of Americans will now have less time to enjoy their golden years and spend time with children and grandchildren. It's truly a sad and gut wrenching state of affairs. You need to put the politics aside and just have a heart.

Half the damn drugs people are taking are to deal with the symptoms developed from years of eating crap.

Or pain developed from inactivity/obesity.

All these food businesses have made themselves rich selling poison for years and now big pharma is reaping the rewards.

Honestly the education to avoid such things is available to anyone willing to research and apply will power.

But 60 is damn early age to go.

I hope you didn't miss the irony of posting this on NT, of all forums, where members have been throwing reason out of the window to get that "last pair of sneakers for a while, I swear" since 1999.

There is a reason brands spend billions in marketing and advertising to erode the public's willpower: it's because it works. Refusing to address the promotion of bad habits, the effects of poor urban planning, and leave it all to "willpower" (at the mercy of corporations' need that you consume) is irresponsible and will invariably lead to poor quality of life and poor health numbers.
