young thug faces backlash for engaging airport workers

You all really must stop acting like you just say "may the lord bless you" and move on when treated poorly by a customer service representative. Just stop.

Who is saying that?

How is he being treated poorly when he's the one that feels like he's owed something when it's his fault? Dude took it too far.

Of course people get upset when dealing with customer service, amongst other things. The difference is that more often than not, folks probably don't take things to a personal level. Belittling someone for the job they're working is weak.
So HE was late, but it's their fault? What kind of sense is that? World doesn't revolve around "Thugga."

That Airport, like most is a place of business. Money makes EVERYTHING move in there. I know for a fact Thug has gotten away with it before because I've pushed him through security when him and his boys were late. The fact that it didn't work this time is what more than likely escalated the situation. If anything I blame some of us around the airport, including myself for enabling some of these people and making them feel like they're better than everyone else and don't have to adhere to regulatory rules.

...that hundred was crisp though :nthat:

So because someone wasn't having it that day, she and the rest of her team deserved to be belittled in that manner? Yall gotta stop putting these herbs on pedestals due to their celebrity.

Cute edit fam

These ****** are weird man

The reading comprehension in here

Are you saying you cosign someone calling someone else a peasant? His reaction to his frustration is acceptable?

I've worked in CS and I know how it can be with customers so I try my best to make it an easier process for that person and I.

But to try to completely humiliate and dehumanize someone...no I can confidently say that I have done that. **** like that doesn't cross my mind. Just like racist slurs don't cross my mind.

As sckid said, I can show my dismay without belittling you as a person.

I work customer service for Delta in the worlds busiest airport, the exact airport in that video. I know exactly what customer service entails and know exactly what situations I can and can't handle and may need someone else to tell a customer no when my words aren't exactly working for a passenger. I also know the girl at the Alaska Airline counter and can tell you that she's gotten into it with plenty of passengers because of her attitude. It's not what you say, but HOW you say it. In no way, shape or form should Thug have belittled those women. But I guarantee you that the situation went back and forth before a camera was pulled out and all that ensued. The woman stayed behind the counter and endured that when they simply could've walked to the back office until a manager intervened which was mentioned in the video. And trust and believe I've seen and heard WAYYYYYYYYYYYYY worse in that damn airport. A lot of y'all just soft, to be honest. Would get your feelings hurt everyday in there thinking the world owes you kindness. I had to regulate and call the police for a passenger who spit on a gate agent for closing the gate and the passenger got their 3 minutes after the gate closed. Y'all wouldn't survive in there.

I agree he took it too far, and I dislike when people belittle folks, but I just have a disdain for poor customer service. If you do your job correctly in the first place you wouldn't be susceptible to this goofball's behavior. To me it's akin to the "tolerate my intolerance" crowd, get out of pocket first, however minor then cry at the overwhelming backlash. Sorry but it's literally your job to not engage in that manner, not his. It's a shame they had to go through that, but hopefully they take the right lesson from this.

And the way ya'll take to each other here (just look at this thread) you want anyone to believe you're respectful in general, in the real world?

In this situation, he was the one who was late...but then got upset at them for something that was in his control from the jump. It was his issue.

Why's everyone assuming those airline colleagues are 100% innocent? I doubt Thug just randomly started coming at their neck... some people out here think because they're on the clock and can hit their managers/security at the click of a button, they can talk to you any kind of way. Happens more often than it should.

If you don't like thug that's cool but again, I highly doubt he wasn't provoked.
Yeah he is who he is but I've had enough rude interactions with airport/airline/TSA workers to know there's more.
she's at the ticket counter....

all they do is input info and check bags...

they don't really have much more interaction than that....

They just type info into the computer and follow procedure...

what sort of "choices" can a person at the ticket counter make that is really at their discrepency?

These young dudes are so damn shallow materialistic and disrespectful.
Its quite pitiful the way they are with money and other peoples lives.
Aint nothing gangster or real about this type of behavior.

I swear you give the most oppressed stereotyped a d frowned upon demographic of people money and fame and they become as prejudice and arrogant as thier oppressors

gonna quote just in case this was glossed over by some

I've never used my relative financial position to belittle someone or talked down on a stranger for having less.

That was ho ****. Let's call it what it is.

$tacy $tacy hit it on the head.

We still need metrothuggin and No My Name Is Jeffery is still in rotation.

You kind've just proved our point, I'm almost certain had she just declined his money and said in a polite manner/tone something along the lines of, "I wish I could help you but there's really nothing I can do and I can't risk losing my job" things would've turned out completely different.

You got a dude in here that works at that very airport telling you the culture there and ya'll wanna come at his neck for essentially just being the messenger

If they were white I'm 90% sure he would've hit em with the uneducated ignorant black dude insults to white people. "White b, cracker *** b and various other terms making sure he points out their race. He's a ignorant *****, are we really surprised tho? If u ever heard a song this isn't surprising. The rapper who raps about ignorant **** is ignorant, surprise. I almost sure if those were 6 ft stocky black dudes he wouldn't have said it tho.
