Nike Zoom Kobe III Black-Maize First Look

Umm and i the only one concerned about the ankle support on these?
and for looks, they look pretty bad...im really let down on the design.
 
IMO they look pretty clean! and comfortable might I add. Reminds me of the Jordan XIX SE's. Would be sick if there was patent leather on the front.
 
So It's official , Nike want to end Kobe contract after these. Honestly I don't think Kobe himself can endure wearing these horrible looking sneakers. What in the world is that ? A basket that look like shoes ? Nike designer gotta be on some kind of crack. IF those are really the KB III and if NIke are planning to release them then good luck because they might as well shut down their plan and call it quit :rofl:

they look okay.. but i think the performance of these will be excellent.. of course there would be a reason for nike to make them look like that..
 
there better be more maize on this colorway..............or another one......................like for real, the only maize cant be a logo on the tongue and on the heel

i liked the kobe 1, i only like the kobe 2 strength, and so far i dont like the kobe 3.
 
I like these alot....not a fan of the colorway.

Im glad Nike is bringing pure performance back.
These remind of the stunners...not looks wise..but "feeling" wise

*I dont think traction will be an issue if they use the correct grade of rubber.
 
looks like another great kobe shoe to ball in. looks wise i'm sure they will grow on most of us once they drop. hope the final product has some tweaks to it before the release.

if it's that "good year tire" type of rubber then traction would be awesome.

Hi guys, it's my first post on here. Found this site a few months ago and have enjoyed reading...so, I got approved and I hope y'all don't mind if I add a couple replies here and there. :D

Anyway, I think ZK3 looks pretty shabby. Too much rubber goin' on, the "basketball net" design looks rather uninspired, and no ankle strap has me questioning it's support. But maybe that's because the last few pairs I've bought have had the straps, so I'm just used to it now. I hope those pics are just a preliminary design....

I thought that when I saw these in April. I believe it's supposed to change some.. but not sure how much. The one thing I do know is.. these won't sit so nicely on shelves... slumping and all. Hopefully there's an insert for them to sit up right and give a good shelf presentation.

I still have no opinion on these, i'll have to see them in my hand or on my feet first.












But Geez. I mean, at least the shoe represents my feelings towards Kobe 100% from the looks of it. Amazing performance, but I wouldn't want to be caught dead wearing them.
