Jordan Retro XI 11/11/17

these '16 SJs really make the last round of 11 retros standout as subpar and unacceptable. again, such a huge difference the shape and PL cut make. they really need to bring back concords or DMPs or even breds or cool greys with this new '16 mold PL cut. SJs have easily become my favor release of the year now, along with WC4s. just need bred 4s and fire red 4s to drop with NA.
 
so funny, the XI Space Jam release is hardly over and the thread for 2017 is already running.

They need to start doing the XI versions of Jordan's NBA finals opponents, a Suns PE would just be insane colorwise!

These have loooooots of potential.  If they do these the way they're portrayed in the PS image I'm definitely in.  Diggin' 'em.

is it just me or does the most recent patent cut seem higher than those OGs?

I'm so in for those. but with the milky blue bottoms like those, not the blue icey bottom. and the 45 on back. lawdddd take my money now.

i lowkey wish they're release those in the spring so we dont have to wait as long lol
 
yeah, the '16 SJs def have a higher PL cut than the OGs and i'm not mad at all. at least as of this moment, i'm not excited about a blue 11. like i said in my last post they need to re-drop the breds, concords and cool greys with this new mold. then go back to retro+ colorways. if they were set on a retro+ for '17, it should no doubt be the red melo samples or a mid version of the '12 white/red lows.

The pic there is the OG 11 prototype with the 45 at the ankle which MJ wore in game 1 and 2 of the 2nd round 1995 nba playoffs.

The ones released in the 1995/1996 season had a much higher patent leather cut.
 
Hard to tell until we get more info/pics on the actual color blocking, materials, etc.. :nerd: But definitely think this could be a great colorway and hoping JB doesn't mess it up and keeps it simple/clean..
