I'm not sure why are numbered and some are not. Mine came numbered. I took a picture
They most likely produced a lot more than 1975 pairs, but only 1975 pairs are numbered to give it that exclusive feel.

double sock did not work since these shoes are narrow.

here's what I did with the lacing to help with the heel slip. not gone completely..i say 90% contained. good enough to give them a test. the front lace setup is to hold down that corner edge, otherwise it'll sticks straight up. I tried using that last lace hole but the laces ends up sitting high on the ankle, some parts where above the bootie and you could feel the lace pressure/rubbing.

Damn, looks like I'm gonna have to order a size without being able to try it on. Called all my local FTL and none of them got the sizes I wanna try on.

I have gone TTS on my pairs and they fit me perfect. They have a little room in the front by that's how I like my shoes to fit personally. There is some heel slip, but not all that much

Yeah see, this is why I wanted to try on a pair in store. I see people saying to half size down since it runs large like the Lillard 2s, but then you say to go TTS. I don't own any version of the Lillards.

My current set up on the lacing. They feel pretty good and secure when I lace them. Going to test them out tonight on court.

And if anyone has a plug/lead on Arthur Ashe Dame 3 in an 8.5 dm me please!!!

I have a slender foot and it fits me good like the 1s. I know a lot of people didn't like the fit on those either. YMMV deal for this line it seems.

They really need to find some consistency.  For their own benefit you would think they would get it right.  I don't mind if the shoes run a bit big as long as they all run big.

For me, I went .5 down in the 1 and 2.  So that's what I'll do for the 3 if I get them.  Sizing and fit issues right off of the bat?  I thought they would have learned from the issues with the 1.

I get the feeling these might follow the Lillard 1 more than the 2 in terms of sales and discounts.  With all of the high level performers featuring Boost available, and at a comparable price at this point, combined with how the Blazers are doing this season...eh.  Not really in a hurry to get these.

Does everybody have this much space between their ankle and tongue or did this guy just buy a size too big? I plan on buying to hoop in but if there's that much separation then I might reconsider.

Not my pic, just found on Instgram:

Either he has kid ankles, or he bought them way too big. Mine do not have that much room between my ankle and the tongue of the shoe

Went tts (8.5) with these when they released early on ADC. Love everything about this shoe especially comfort and lace customization. I play with ASO ankle braces for both ankles and I initially had heel slippage so I spent a good half hour tinkering with different lacing setups until I found one that really locked me in:

I tried on the drone 7s, crazy explosive, cl Boost, and the hardens and they all got sent back because the heel slippage was real with my braces on. Dame 3s, however, are the truth. Never played in the 1 or 2 but I gotta say that everything said about bounce cushioning is real. It's really fun to play in and it's amazing a foam-based cushion can feel this good and in this kind of shoe for it's kind of price point. And just to go a little off on my own tangent, adidas can give this to us at $115 but Nike gives way less with Kyrie's @ $120 and Kobe's @ $160? :x

TL;DR - tts fits fine, I wear ankle braces. This is my lacing setup. Shoe is 9.5/10.

I think it's a combination of things from the point of view, black socks, white lining and how tall the tongue is that trips you out *shrugs*

Might try out Mi Adidas...  I've been making NikeiDs for years but haven't dabbled in Adidas' version.  Really been holding off due to the unknown nature of final product vs. render (when returns aren't possible).  Is it still no returns?

My prospects thus far...

Since you went TTS, how much room do you have in the toebox? If you didn't wear the ankle brace, would you have went .5 size down?

Without braces, I have about 3/8th of an inch of space between my big toe and the tip of the shoe. The braces add about 1/16th to 1/8th of an inch of length in there. Personally, I'm cool with the tiny bit of space so no, I wouldn't have went .5 size down. I will say, though, that I think I could get away with going .5 size down if I wanted my toes to be at the very tip of the shoe but I fear any potential toe stubbing. With the bootie-style fit, customizable lacing system, and the insole/midsole having my foot molded to it from balling (reminds me of Kobe VI), the midfoot lockdown is great and there's no front-to-back shifting.

Managed to take a couple of pictures:

And for reference: I'm 8.5 in all Kobe's IV - XI except X elite low (size 9)

TL;DR - ~3/8" w/o braces, ~1/4" with braces. I'd still go tts without braces.

Hope this helps

Still No Returns on MiAdidas..... i think that holds a lot of ppl back. I'm still on the fence.

These release 2/17 along with the all black. Even though Dame wasn't selected to the AS I hope they still put it out like last year.

.... I agree they should still release a CW during ASW but they got to call it something like "Snubbed" or "Overlooked" "Underrated", etc...

i'd likely pull the trigger on miadidas dame 3s when they have one of those sales for miadidas they had not too long ago.
