donald trump.

Damn, should have gave dude more facts to educate him.

Got em though.

 You believe people like him care about/don't know the facts? I'm glad she didn't waste her time. At what point are we relieved of our "explain to ignorant racists" duties?

They can both catch L's, IMO.

Her for contacting his family and him for saying "Christians are different than Muslims because they do not kill in the name of their God".

I'm christian BTW.

Contacting his family? I think he just made that up so he can get her "fired" though...

Been sayin this for a min. Why is it the job of the "oppressed" to educate the "oppressors" They know what they're doin, that's why they do it. No amount of facts will deter them from that.

He was trying to get her fired from HER company. But doesn't realize that she owns her company.

Yeah bruh you might need a coffee or a nap

Then the title is misleading.
You're the first and only person who openly read it that way

To me it was clear dude was complaining about something, she checked him hard, then he tried to target her livelihood, unbeknownst to him she owns and runs her business.

If you read more than the thread title you'd be able to get that.

imo its two things

on one level its his one white person to another white person whole mentality/scheme

and at the same time its the assumption that she has to be a lowly employee capable of being fired on his white word

Unfortunately so much of today's world have bought into the "tolerate my intolerance" bit where they basically beg for the right for their stupid opinion to be said without rebuttal, begging for mercy and the pc crowd eats it up, enabling it. It's sad. I can't recall seeing someone intelligent do that, rather they continue to defend their point or concede. It's like a crutch for the weak minded.

Sorry to bring this back up, but my god, I am happy I don't personally know or have to deal with NYC in real life. Dude would just not admit he made a mistake, jeez.

Meh, son prolly just going through some **** and lashing out, been happening here lately. He'll get over it.

I forget how the saying goes but the dumbest and most ignorant in our society are the most sure of themselves while the most intelligent, wise and inquisitive are the least confident in their convictions.
“The fundamental cause of the trouble is that in the modern world the stupid are cocksure while the intelligent are full of doubt.”

There's a psychology concept called "Dunning Kruger" effect which i think is similar:
The Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias in which low-ability individuals suffer from illusory superiority, mistakenly assessing their ability as much higher than it really is. Dunning and Kruger attributed this bias to a metacognitive incapacity, on the part of those with low ability, to recognize their ineptitude and evaluate their competence accurately. Their research also suggests corollaries: high-ability individuals may underestimate their relative competence and may erroneously assume that tasks which are easy for them are also easy for others.[1]

I think it more ignorance than anything.

Take this perspective, when we were growing up in the hoods across the country, we used to flip on dirty mattresses because we didn't know any better, but as we get older and become more knowledgeable, we think "what the hell were we thinking?". It's not so much that the most intelligent are least confident, it's that we/they know that there are so many factors that could attribute to things.

and i think the guy made up her contacting his family to seem as if she was harassing him when it was in fact the opposite
