BG,GS,Womens

I want to buy my bestfriend some Jordans.Shes a size 5 in girls. The ones I want to get her say BG,then some other ones say GS. I was told a 3.5 would fit her but does it matter if I get her a 3.5 and it's in BG or GS? Also a 3.5 would convert to a 5 in girls right? Last thing is Girls the same as womens? So as of right now I'm set to order a 3.5 for her l,would that be correct? Please help! Thank You!

the official Nike size chart

BG is the same as GS

and the best thing what you can do is checkout the sizetag from the nike or air jordan shoes what she is currently wearing to see how many centimeters her shoes are in the length to determine what size you will need for your friend, i did the same thing when i bought shoes for my ex girlfriend the first time and it worked out great, so for example if your friends shoe is 22 centimeters, you pick size 3Y GS/BG or wmns US size 5
