Proposed Law Would Block Porn in South Carolina, Unless You Pay a $20 Fee

My question still remains, how are they gonna monitor after market sales?

eBay, Craigslist, forum classified sections.... ect.
Probably sneak in a monitoring program to the next software update of any device you use to access the internet.
NSA already doing that ****
Skynet about to take over the world in a couple years
Oh no doubt but not all gov. agencies share the cool toys with each other or even information.

This is some dumb tax you for porn internet bill. You think NSA is gonna take time off from watching you fap and have sex (and also find terrorists) to help one state prevent internet porn viewing?

I seen weird **** happen this year, wouldn't doubt anything anymore. "Conservatives" calling for a bigger government in 2016. Irony at it's finest.

Internet censorship simply does not work.
Purchase a VPN (virtual private network) that doesn't keep logs and browse whatever you please. Your internet provider can only see "user connected to a VPN" in your data, not what you're actually doing on the internet while connected to the VPN

I'd love to hear your technical real world explanation on why you don't think so.

Unless ISP's suddenly gained NSA grade technology, then no they are not capable of seeing exactly what you're doing if you use a good VPN. If you use a VPN and then browse the internet through an encrypted service like Tor, that's far above ISP's capabilities. The NSA can probably see what you're doing regardless of how much steps you take you shield your identity and activity but if this law were to pass I don't think the NSA would be the ones involved in finding porn browsers

Honestly.

If you really think the Governement, let alone hackers can't decrypt VPN codes then more power to you!

I personally don't care what what you think or what the "truth" really is. I believe Governemnt Surveilance exist.

I also believe the NSA are too advance to not over ride such server. But if we are just strictly talking about ISP, then sure, I guess he's right. South Carolina can use VPNs just to view porn.

All of this

Which is why I can say things like you will go no further than 104.207.136.75 and sleep soundly

If a government level entity wants to see what you're doing, they will

no amount of safeguards will protect you if they're looking for you specifically

But a good VPN alone is enough to keep pretty much anyone off your back unless you're a wild boy

Crazy, but "whatever floats your boat" I guess.
yeah but the incest thing is too close to that line for me.

weird af.

i can see how people have a thing for feet. i personally don't but at least i could understand it

I never understood that incest porn too
Probably appealing to some southerners out there doe

(Fake) Incestual porn is a huge market. Even more so if they're straight up alleging they're blood related

There's a voyeurism/sadism angle to watching it I think.
Word. I occasionally browse the "most viewed/top rated" sections and some of the stuff that's on there I just can't help but shake my head at.

From "REAL BROTHER AND SISTER" to all kinds of ****old videos, no thanks. Hentai is even more baffling to me.
