I'm trying to live somewhere warm year round. Unlike Vegas or L.A., Arizona is more lowkey.

Is it really that bad for liberals?

Or is it just the old people that give it a bad rap? Their elected officials are some clowns.

I'd visit AZ just for their nature ****.

Would never live there. Miss me on their conservatism and 1000 degree summers.

Iono man that sun be beamin like a mofo. My homeboy went to az and he came back burnt like a mofo and years later he still dark as hell. He was a lil darker then the new sammy sosa and came back lookin the old sammy sosa.

Winters are cool. Can't even go swimming in the summers, pools feel like bathwater

I used to keep my clothes in the freezer so I could stay cool while I walked to class

Its all bad if your Mexican, Middle Eastern or Native American. The levels of racism are equivalent to 1915. If you anything else there your good money. I'm black and I felt invisible in a good way every time i visit (grandparents live there). The cops and people are too busy harassing other minorities.

The weather is amazing there too.

In my unbiased opinion, I think it's a pretty good place to live. There are a lot of conservatives, but it's not like moving to Alabama or some **** like that. Gas is some of the cheapest in the country, and cost of living is low. Jobs market sucks, but other than that and the heat in the summer it's fine with me

They have that dry heat, which is fine with me. I'll trade in the Florida humidity heat for that any day of the week.

considering retirement there, tons of golf and pickleball.

Pretty much this if you like to do these things. AZ has all of that and some. At least cost of living is way better there. I thought the heat wasn't as bad as humid weather but I did get burnt super bad.

For me though, I just don't like the terrain there. No real trees and water to see. It would get old fast out there.

been there a few times, okay place...

Florida of the Southwest/Westcoast, retirees from the Midwest head there just like East Coasters head to Florida for their golden years...

So as long as you're black or white in AZ you are good?
I wonder how an Asian fits in the equation? :nerd:

I heard anything outside of Phoenix you might as well be living in Alabama.
Tucson area (little over a million people) voted for Hilary Clinton though. As for the really small towns, I don't see why anyone would move there anyway

For the record I am a black dude living out here
