The last .....ed up video I watched was the video Lone Survivor was based on.

yea, might wanna rethink this whole thread.

I watched it.... not for the faint of heart, actually pissed me off.

humans always have a fascination with violence. that is why (imo at least) these videos gain some traction on the interwebz. this is nothing new. and frankly i don't think it needs to be shared, its not like there is a denial of these things taking place, like police brutality.

its not about how violent and archaic ISIS can be, its more about who can come together, and affect real change.

americans have this out-of-touch-with-reality mindset that terrorism is the biggest threat to public safety, regardless if you are more likely to be...idk robbed, hit by a bus, car accident, heart attack, or just plain shot; ignoring the fact that muslims and christians across the atlantic have been terrorized by groups like ISIS and Boko Haram for years, all that on top of political instability.

this is an issue that should be uniting nations to solve, but sadly america's history with not caring about poorer, developing nations (word to rwanda, haiti etc) and overall hesitation of getting into another major military endeavor after the last one was 100% pointless and a waste of life (word to iraq, afghanistan....vietnam) have made inaction the foreign policy of choice.

and thus, america, with its "global force for good" , and other military powers leave these poor and/or broken nations to burn themselves out under the thick smoke of political turmoil and religious unrest.

its sad man. just look at aleppo.

I was literally up most of the night thinking about stuff like this man. And how I/we really need to do better :smh:. Someone said something and I saw something yesterday that really got to me.

did not watch the video.

We have a fascination of violence because a lot of us are angry. Some of us stay distracted with media, sports and all that so a lot of times were like "meh". Vid looks fake
