I'm not worried about quality. The white red 13s I've seen and felt in store had better leather than the 2010 pair I owned . Black cat pair isn't bad either. I don't really care about craftsmanship like that anyway. These should be fine

In for another pair. 2011 quality was on point imo and sold, but still somehow overlooked. I have cautiously worn mine since then, but a second pair would def be appreciated.

white and red 13's always been da least popular of da OG's.
these all stars didn't fly faaaast last time around, but they did sell out within a week.

I remember grabbing up a pair of the 2011s 4 days after release, but a couple days later they were definitely gone everywhere. And this was the pre concord 2011 era. These will not sit like the white and reds.

I don't think people respect this cw enough, even though I personally think it's the best cw out of all the 13s. The fact that the flints are coming a few months later might help also since I see people seeming to want that color more. I'm getting both pairs either way.

Dope colorway, but I like white/reds or white/blacks better. These will fly, no doubt.

yea these are "mean" just straight tough. I agree, to me these are #1. With flints at #2. I end up wearing these the most. I will also double up on these and the flints.

although it's subjective, i believe flints are easily the dopest colorway of the 13. after that, it could go either way. but i'd figure most ppl would rank...

and speaking of playoffs, i've never heard them referred to as all stars until recently and i certainly attribute that to the younger folks. ever since '98 - '99 these have ALWAYS been playoffs.

Wrong. I have the OGs and I also vote for calling them ASG and not playoffs.
Why?
Because MJ debuted them during the,ASG 1998 where he won the ASG mvp.
Later in the playoffs, MJ actually wore mostly the AJ13 lows which looked very similar to these but lacked the golden ring around the jumpman on the tongue, the Jordan lettering on the toe was white, the hologram being replaced by the metal jumpman.

Yeah he wore them in the ASG first. Thing is people tend to look down in the pic of him guarding Kobe. He had these in the playoffs then switched to the Blk/reds mids then lows. He switched a lot.

damn, u right. i totally forgot about them. not sure how. alot on my mind lately? but i agree, they would take 1st place, then the rest of my list.

this is not a vote. the point i was making is, as far as nick names go, these have ALWAYS been called playoffs. i've never heard them called ASGs til recently. i'm not disputing when he debuted them.

If I recall correctly he did not he wore the Breds and the ASGs and additionally in the finals the last shot in game 5 and 6 definetly and I believe also in game 4.

reason we called them playoffs was because they came out around playoff time & he was wearing them a couple of the first games we saw. Then they had the gold ring we attributed to him going after another ring(I was in 6th grade so take it with a grain of elementary salt)
That was how we saw it at school, then since the colorway was the same style as the playoff 12s we just didn't think anything further of it. I'll always call them playoff 13s no matter what, they can be both though we know what the shoe is. WHO CARES ABOUT THE NAME. Just enjoy the shoe
