Most uncomfortable shoes you ever owned

I didn't owned these but I played basketball in Chuck Taylor before.. :smh:
I remember my brother wanting to wear chucks to play pickup one day. He ended up sliding all over the court, idk what he was thinking lol

These are up there for me. Had them in white/blue. The back end was so tough I still remember it jamming into your achilles. RIP if you wore no show socks

starbury. that is the one i can remember. couldn't pass on the price. but marbury on that stuff talkin about these shoes ain't worth 200, so play in his shoes.

i mean...he's right. u could get perfectly great ball shoes for a cool 40 cash, give or take. no shoe is worth in the hundreds.

but the starbury shoe is one of the most ****** shoes i've ever worn. no cushion, support, just...cheap.

but then again, skills are skills. you got dudes in africa and the Caribbean balling in less, and shooting milk crates or w.e, leveling up and ending up in the pros. so...yea.

but the shoes are trash. big ups to marbury for giving a lot away for free tho.
LMAO, I remember that Real Sports segment he had on HBO where they compared one of his shoes to the Jordan 20. He fooled a few people with that segment. My mother included
I remember I had a pair of starbury's

My brother said they look like shadow(from sonic) shoes

.
Somewhat off topic but the place that sold them out here, Steve & Barry's, tried to advertise them as a BAPE basketball sneaker. Had poster of Nigo and all that and tried to say cause both shoes had stars on them they're the same

off topic, but this thread has me remembering the shoes that were comfortable too...my fav ball shoes were the Shox Stunners...

 yo. I never heard of that .

You've got to be on something. The ultraposites were one of the best basketball sneakers Nike ever made. I would kill for a pair to ball in again.

Now the zooms below weren't bad but my problem with them was that the base was too narrow so it felt like you were about to roll your ankles. I remember NT raved about them when they came out and were probably some of the most popular pairs to ball in around that time frame in 2002 and 2003.

Yeah **** was hilarious, Steve & Barry's was actual a solid store with a bunch of throwback college and pro sportswear. They also had a ton of WWF and Marvel comic clothing. But they were tripping with that BAPE ****. I mean it was a legit fedex print out in black and white with nigo holding a pair of BAPESTA (AF1) right next to the Starberry cardboard cut out. Me and my brother were in tears

Thinking the exact same thing, I might be in the minority but the CB34 barkley's were comfortable as ****, just waiting on the current retro to go on sale before I grab them again.

 oh yeah I remember that store.

I uh......damaged some merchandise one time there.but that's for another day.

I made the mistake of hooping in these. During the game I realized my big toes were hurting. Took my shoes off and the nails were black, a week later both nails fell off. Smh. This was 3 years ago and my left one still hasn't turned back normal.

F bron sig line.

I have a thesis to write about. Sorry to say this, but I'm happy I've found someone who can share this pain.

One day I was at the library and my friends hit me up to play ball. I was wearing these shoes so I decided why not. I'm literally dying after a game. Both my big toes are in so much pain. That toe area is super hard in that shoe. I keep playing for a few hours and the next day after waking up my two big toe nails are sore as hell. Gradually after a week my big toe nails are blacker than black. Toe sore for a week. After a few months my toe nails fall off and they grow back all disfigured.

Basically months later I'm at the library again and friends ask if I'm down to ball. I'm wearing my Kentucky pair again. I chalk up the first instance as an outlier since I've played light games in them before and not had this issue. Same thing happens and my toe nails turn black and fall off.

This is probably two years ago and my toe nails are still messed up, but they're looking better. I've had to double sock to play after this making my feet sweat like hell. My mom was convinced I had fungus and wasn't washing my damn feet properly. Others see my toes and think I'm diseased.

Still love how the shoe looked and they were super comfortable just walking around lol.

This, plus early 2000s retro air max 95s, though I'm sure they're no better now.

Chuck II's though are comfy as hell, not sure what all the negative feedback was about.
Yup. Scooped up a pair for $20 with my Nordstrom discount. :smokin I have a pair of Varvatos chucks and the chuck 2's are like 8 times more comfortable.

That second pair of shoes he posted were a beastly hoop shoe with full zoom and great traction. They were a pair in the *** to get on but once they were it was time to give dudes the buckets.

I had those when they originally came out.

Pretty comfy.

Now they are ugly as **** to me tho.

They were pretty popular back in the day but I don't think a retro would do good today

i don't think KG wore those did he?

those were 2001 and he left nike for and1

i had these too

those were comfy as hell too, especially after you broke em in.

id consider buying a retro of those. missed the last ones.

Kobe VII's, hands down.

I went a full size up and they still destroyed my feet.

I may be mistaken but I thought the Flightposite 3 was supposed to be a signature for KG, but he left before they dropped
