Clearance stores and factory store operate differently. If you're not sure what discounts they have going on, just call. Most if not all stores will have an automated machine explaining store promotions.

The only times they seem to be the same are during holidays. For the rest of the year, the stores all seem to have different promotions. There are 3 factory outlets "near" my house, and they rarely have the same promotions going on. They usually have something from thurs-sun.

This whole finding rare pairs are Marshalls, Ross, TJ Maxx, Etc is really getting out of hand again and I would venture to say more than half of them aren't really there, just people trying to get attention/likes on Social Media.. My 2 Cents at least..
