Obviously draft picks would have to be involved, but what if the #2 overall is in play?

I still wouldn't do it.

Let's say we let Kirk go and don't pay him. Then what? Colt isn't a franchise QB. We'll be back looking for a QB to draft, who may or may not work out. I'd rather keep Kirk and improve the defense.

Washington isn't sold on Kirk, it was said last year and this year. All that talent and you miss the playoffs and win 7 games? Yeah, they're not sold. I hope Washington keeps him and gives him a huge deal though.

2015 Giants defense broke records, your defense didn't. Defense was not that bad. It wasn't good but let's not act like your defense was the worst in the league. If it was, Kirk would have gotten his deal. Your team and GM isn't sold. That's why he gotta yell and cry all the time.

have been some pretty weak QB classes somewhat recently

2013 is the first thing that comes to mind with EJ manual going 16th and geno going with the 39th pick

carr is saving 2014 right now, which had: bortles (3rd overall) and manziel (22nd) in the 1st.. with teddy with the 32nd pick, but obviously we gotta see what happens with his knee

Worst 3rd down defense in the league in 2016 but the best 3rd down offense. Yeah that's Kirks fault.

by draft time, definitely top 10.. not sure top 5 yet

I think titans trade back from 5 (which would be smart.. say the browns move from 12 to 5).. or someone trades up to 3 or 4

I think Watson missed a huge opportunity by skipping the senior bowl.. the actual game doesn't mean crap.. but the practices are huge and the opportunity to schmooze with the 2 coaching staffs at the game and there a ton of scouts there from all teams (bears and browns staffs are coaching, both need QBs and both in top 10)

So your saying Colt is a better QB then Kirk right? An you base this off Colt beating a good Dallas team once. That one game showed you more then 2 years worth of what Kirk has done.

Kirk's make or break game was week 17 to me and it ended badly

seems he is on a track to be Tony Romo lite

it'll be a damn shame if the skins went through all that RGIII/Gruden/Kirk drama to not resign cousins to a longterm deal as the franchise QB.
