checking in for 2017.

indoor starts middle of january. Got to pick up some turfs or indoors. Might just use my AG studs in doors if the turf is long enough but new facility so haven't played there yet

Looking forward to the boots in 2017, going to need a new pair down the line but most likely going to go Tiempo Legend 6, or Superfly's. I'm iffy so far about what I've seen for the new Tiempo Legends.

My facility just got brand new turf and I almost rolled my ankle using AG boots. Not sure if its the turf or if I stepped wrong.

with the sale they are $75. I have played on long turf and i have played on short turf. Some hard carpet like with minimal rubber pellets some like actual AG grass just indoor. I am real wishy washy on this but since nike does have a good return policy i might just cop and if i don't need them return them.

Wonder why they haven't implemented this "anti clog" tech into all of their shoes. Hell they don't even sell boots with that tech in a size above 11 smh. Looks like a lot of turf stuck to those HV.

Yeah its a shame cause everything i've seen from the boots with anti-clog on them actually work

What does the surface actually look like?

If it's that rough carpet-like texture then it's turf.

If it has really short synthetic 'blades', then it's artificial grass

Copped for lil bro today. Nothing in my size :\
$17 for a boot that retailed $200+ is still a good come up

coming soon, might debut ahead of the confederations cup during the CL finals

I have not copped an adidas cleat since the adidas F50 OG leather. These Primeknit ACE 17.1 are amazing. I get to play with them tomorrow. I'll let you guys know how they are on the field. View media item 2290992

Those do look really good. Ive been loving the hypervenoms but those are interesting. What kind of cleats do you typically wear?

Normally play half in Obras 2, and then another half in superfly Vs. I have some of the first gen venoms for indoor AG studs. I have Jordan 3 cement Venoms as well. I haven't played in them since September. I still have my adidas powerswerves that are in great condition, they are little big. But if I'm at camp and synthetics are hurting my feet will bust out the leather cleats.

Got about 30 mins of warm up time and 30 mins of game time before I had to take them off. It could have been due to someone stepping on my heel and making my foot come out of the boot, but my top of my toe was rubbing and it bled. Overall I like the fit of the boot, the collar isn't snug at all, just their for looks.

So out of the Obra 2s and superfly Vs and the 17.1s which are you favoring?

I have superfly Vs and Obra 2s both in AG and i love both boots but favor the Obras. The collar on the Obra 2 feels way less intrusive to me and the upper being soft lends itself to help my first tough a little better then my superflys. The superflys give you that great pinging sensation on passes but playing on AG all the time and needing a closer first touch on everything i find the obra's more suited for my game.

I wouldn't wear them again until you fully heal, but once you do, give them short sessions and then switch to one of your other pairs. After a few times they shouldn't give you blisters anymore.
