Why are people obsessed with bacon?

jesus christ dude i said

IF

wasnt talking to you or about you

Meant the bottle specifically

something about it just makes me think it will taste gross
Yea that's something ppl should have assumed right off the bat. The bottle.

Weirdly and aggressively self-involved is best case scenario but my money's on full-fledged narcissist.

If yo bacon pack got like 20 slices in it you eating that reggie bacon. That to die for bacon pack gon give you a good, thick 8 - 10 slices

****** dont wanna eat meat no more but spend so much time making pale imitations

I never understood why vegetarians have all those veggie burgers, veggie hotdogs, and other imitation stuff. I guess they miss the real thing. Eating that imitation stuff would have me just back to eating the real stuff.
Some people don't want the guilt associated with it, others want the flavor without the health issues. I eat vegetarian chop meat once a week on average and I feel so much better afterward than if I ate real chop meat. Season that stuff right and it'll taste better too.

i have had some really good turkey bacon. i eat turkey bacon and turkey breakfast sausage on the regular

but it's still not better tasting than pork.  just better for you

Bacon definitely goes with chocolate. My home girl made some chocolate chip cookies with little pieces of bacon in them. At first I was skeptical, but then tried it and had the :wow: face.

This might be the best item to ever grace the shelves at Trader Joe's.

Eat it on it's own, or put it on a sandwich.

Thank me later.

:pimp:

Until last year I tried bacon-wrapped shrimp, oh my that **** was bomb. Otherwise I would agree with OP. then you mention that bacon is okay or you're not crazy for bayyy-kinnn then they look at you like the old days when they hung non-believers.

My girl does a bacon wrapped shrimp thing with buffalo cheese, fig jam and habanero sugar. I was addicted at one point, like she had to make it every time I was at her crib.

This is my weapon of choice in the bacon world:

I eat bacon sparingly...but I love a good bacon, pea, goat cheese fritatta with scallions, basil and red bell pepper:

Also love roasted Brussel sprouts with bacon and Granny Smith apple in a maple/butter/vanilla glaze:

you sound like someone who has a yelp elite account and self-identifies as a foodie.
None of the above.  I like food, I eat food, and most importantly I love cooking for myself.  I rarely ever eat out, actually.

Is it wrong to enjoy food?

I hate these type of people. I know somebody who refused to go to one of the top-rated barbeque restaurants here by magazines, newspapers, etc. because it has an average score on Yelp.

i'm just messin around. everything you posted looks great.

i deleted yelp from my phone years ago and refuse to look at their site after reading about their questionable (but legal) business practices. there's also tons of idiots on there that try too hard to sound knowledgeable but wouldn't know good food even if it hit them in the head. there's also people that will give a bad review for the dumbest of reasons. i'd much rather ask here on NT for good regional food spots than look on yelp.

People like that annoy the tuck outta me

I'll eat anywhere if people rave about it but most of the time I'm let down but I gotta atleast try it before I talk **** about it
