Trying to set one of those up is probably my next move. It seems easy enough to build one, but I'm a rookie when it comes to emulation. I have no idea where to get the actual games from.
 
raspberry pi does the same thing and can play other console games on it

theres youtube videos and kits on amazon for the same price as a nes classic

You can probably put one together for $40 or less depending on which components you use, so it's actually cheaper than the Classic. But I haven't seen a video that tells you where to get the game files from. The videos that I have seen seem to sidestep that issue.

Believe it or not getting the games is the easiest part
 
I didn't want one till my boy put more games on his and I believe you can put snes games on it...can't check out either I'm always late
