The violence is multifaceted though it's not as simple as you're making it seem. Violence isn't created in a vacuum and you can't eradicate violence in a vacuum. Heck American culture is inherently violent. Violence is as American as Apple Pie. Why should 16 years olds have access do Draco guns? How are they getting these guns? Why are they picking up guns? One thing that should be said about Chicago is that the level of segregation in the city is insane. You see it on the L, and you see it when you travel through the neighborhoods. Add that to the generally negative depictions of black life in the city, an administration that is perceived as having abandoned the locals in favor of transplants, and the mix does little to foster empathy on either side.

Just no dam sense in the youth of Chicago. It's hard to see something like that. I personally feel it's misguided teens lack of parents around and yes the environment. I grew up in the city went to HS down the street from the greens. It was bad but i can't recall something to level. Murders are out of control, robberies non stop. My city is turning into Hole! But i love home. SMH
They should do the fullest extent they can go with these kids, lock them up with no chance for parole ever. Something has to change, It's not getting better anywhere in the city.
