Keeping Air Jordan 12's "University Blue" clean

So I just copped the University Blue 12's and want to keep them clean and safe from dirt etc. I'm not really sure on how to protect or clean them properly since I also don't know what kind of material is mainly used on the shoe.

Would appreciate it if I could get any help or even maybe a suggestion of a product.
