i have a question. did that alpha project also include older models but in RETRO colorway form? my bo trainer sc HIGHs have a alpha project box yet obviouslyarent modified in anyway design wise

Some Air Revolutions allegedly came in Alpha Project boxes (basing this on earlier responses here) but those are far from Alpha Project.

It's weird where the distinction lies; the Shox R4 have the five circles on the shoe but didn't come in an Alpha Project box but in the blue and limegreen Shox box.

The same way some OG Jordan XV's came in the generic orange Nike shoeboxes, some retros around that time came in the silver alpha shoeboxes. There's nosignificance to them being in the alpha boxes. Factories may run out of regular shoeboxes and use whatever's available.

That Payton commercial is nice. I also feel Nike advertising was much more creative/exciting around this time (Fun Police, Tuned Air Commericals with JasonMewes) but that's a whole nother post.

I completely agree. In a way though, I feel like it goes hand and hand since their designs were so much more creative back then too. Nike wasgroundbreaking as far as technology, design and advertising.

Zoom Seismic will always be my favorite Alpha Project sneaker. I love this shoe

Hello, i recently found this on ebay, does anyone know something about them, apart the obvious thing that these must be part of the alpha project?

Thanks in advance!

^Air Flight Lite II released in 2001. Yes the 5 dots represents AP. All I know about them is that they are ugly as sin lol.

Air Total Max IIs. Love them and its comfort. :smokin Released I believe in 2000.

Also, got a chance to wear my brother's BB4s and OG Eggplant Flightposites (one of the comfiest kicks ever) regarding Alpha Project shoes.

Always loved in that era is how minimal the Swoosh branding is present in most sneakers.

Appreciated. :smokin

^Agreed, white/silver/lapis BB4's were the first shoes I saved up my money for 8)

I still look at this as my favorite era for Nike basketball

reading this, I think 75% of the NTs must be my age, since I rocked some Alpha projects sneakers back then as well, I was in 9th or 10th grade when it started and I just loved how different the box would look and yes the minimal swoosh had its positive effects, although I like the swoosh design a lot.

I guess I mostly liked the AP shoes, since Penny Hardaway (Flightposite 1-3, Ultraposite, etc.) wore many of them and I am a Penny guy, so after his line ended I had to check which shoes he wore, since there were so many different ones in one season every year!

My question is when was da very last alpha project?

All da shox in da green boxes were in AP..so was da

Entire flightposite line..every Vince Carter.

None of da lebrons though.
