CLOSED, NEW THREAD OPENED

I actually feel the opposite on the matter. I know Mark would never do it from a financial perspective but a similar setup to when the Browns moved in 95 and the Sonics moved to OKC would've been cool for Oakland.

Vegas is just happy to have a team period after never having a team. I'd be cool with them changing the name and colors and leaving the raider name and history in Oakland for whenever they get a new team. The Vegas team gets to make its own identity and the name and history of one of the most historic franchises stays where it should stay. I know it's not a popular sell on here and mark won't do it, but it's my take on it.

you already know there's gonna be a bunch of gambling related headlines with every win/lose :smh:

Watching NFL RedZone Replay Week 4 right now. Catching glimpses of that Ravens game, maaaaaaaaaan. :pimp:

I wouldn't anticipate any movement before the draft...but here's the latest for what it's worth...

I really wonder if the Vegas move changes Marshawns desire to play for the Raiders...

I think Marshawn would only be back for a one year deal. Playing for Oakland and getting that significant cut from jersey sales will be enough motivation for a year.

Mark Davis will be on 957 with JT the Brick at 11am. For those that want to listen to that sell out.

Of course he goes on with JT. Damon would have questioned the hell out of him with no damns given.

the general vibe that I got from that interview was that they could never get anything done in Oakland because of the A's.

some of the points he talked about regarding the A's.

close to deal with a investor, A's sign 10 year lease. deal falls apart

offered to sell part of team to the A's and build new stadium's next to each other but they didn't want to

jt the brick asked why Mark's $500 million and the BoA loan couldn't work in Oakland, his answer was that they have nowhere to build it due to the A's lease

JT held dudes hand thru the whole interview, leading him with every question

Dude is full of ****. New A's management said they'd be willing to step aside to keep the Raiders in town, just give them two years notice to figure out their own stadium situation.

Most signs have been pointing towards the A's leaving the Coliseum site anyways.

I know most would hate it, but I'd totally understand if he said he just wanted the free money. How can I be mad at him for accepting $950M in free money, but if he wants to point the finger like he's the victim, dude can miss me with that BS.

yeah, I remember hearing that the A's would be willing to step aside if it hindered the RAIDERS deal.

if dude had sold 20% would the Davis family even still be majority owners? how does that even work as far as running the franchise.

Not sure. Last I remember hearing MD owned 44% so if he gave up 20%, then idk where that really leaves him...

I'm glad there's a conversation in here already about what Mark said.

I can't believe he was ready to give up a percentage of the team to the A's. I just... wow, if that's true.

I'd love to hear the A's perspective of that...a part of me just thinks MD is lyin out his ***.

None of that matters anymore since the A's have new management though.

yeah, it's hard to know what's true. I feel like all 3 sides have said things so it doesn't make them look like the bad guy.

The A's still have the same ownership from that period, only Wolff is out of the picture.

I really would like a response from the A's side.

Wow jus now catching up on this Davis interview. Using the As as a scape goat. Cmon mann...he needa team of advisors to make team decisions. He has no clue what he's doing...

Yeah but look how much has changed with only Wolf out the equitation. I'm not putting it past Wolf as part of the problem, but the fact remains that MD had a solution in Oakland. The A's were not in the way (at least recently). He did not give Oakland any opportunity for about two years.
