Term sheet to a reasonable deal was submitted in December.

I am not a Raider fan, but agree wholeheartedly with @Oakland  .  If anything, its the people who have your opinion that are the ones being emotional, not the other way around.  Libby has a lot of fault in this, and her last ditch effort to try to keep the Raiders here had everything to do with her saving face and trying to make people believe she actually tried her hardest to keep them here.

I didn't vote for Libby and I probably won't come reelection.

I love this city. I do. And I'm very objective. But to me she knows, you know, @NorthOaklandFC  knows that the door should have been closed and kept closed.

Exactly. If anything, Mark made it hard for Libby to even give it a chance. Mark didn't want to be in Oakland anymore. That's where it starts...Libby walked into this situation but got no help from Mark.

My only issue with that statement is people seem to forget her publicly writing mark off multiple times in the media telling them that she has more important issues in the city to worry about this was well .

My problem is your focus was on those other things while also not trying to work with mark and or meet and those other things were not being solved or addressed.

Jean Quan started the process of trying to work with al on a stadium solution before his death Libby dropped the ball big time and Mark Davis def didnt help.

Libby was in a lose/lose. She either tries (and gets voted hell no) to drop public money or try what she did which the NFL didn't want, because it wasn't free money.

Her plan, imo, was a suitable solution. But you can't compete with free money. $950M at that...
