Voting is suppose to be in the spring. Think I read somewhere it's gonna be end of march

I have been Raiders fan since I started watching football. If they pack up and leave then I don't know if I can back a team owned by Davis. I know he tried hard to get a stadium done in Oakland first but once LV threw the money at him there was a slim to none chance of them saying regardless of what stadium ideas they can cook up

Not only that, from an environment perspective the Raiders will have no kinda home field advantage. Bout to be worse than Levi's :smh:

Yea I been in a few debates about who tried hard enough and who didn't. From my knowledge I know that he preferred Oakland but the city was resisting using public funds. But once the offer came for LV he had money signs for eyes. I feel Oakland is trying a lot harder now especially with Warriors leaving to SF than before but at this point Davis isn't turning back. It's his loss anyway a lot of fans here in the Bay that I spoke to see not making that trip out there. And most games will be a 50/50 split between the fans so no black hole no home field. Every game will be a road game pretty much

there's a certain mystique that can't be recreated outside of Oakland that's for sure.

There's definitely not gonna be any kind of home field advantage for the Raiders. I feel bad for the players now. Team starting to get good. Future loooking bright then get shipped off to Vegas. Now I know how my Pops felt when they left for LA...it's gonna b a sad day...

LA would have been a stronghold still.

I don't understand the fans who support this. How can anyone believe the Raider NEED a $2B stadium in a play land like Vegas? They will become an afterthought with tourists there. No one benefits from this except Mark who is NFL-poor and just wants to be paid. Would it shock anyone to see him sell a few years after getting this done?

I don't think any fan supports Vegas. I haven't met any. But it's not about us at the end of the day. Mark wants a shiny new home and whored himself out to get one. I love Vegas but I deff don't want my team there..

I've come across fans that just don't care where they play.

But from a players perspective, I don't think most really care. They're not from Oakland and most aren't even from California.

Plus Vegas has no state taxes so I'm sure from a players perspective they'd like it more cause they'd get more money out of it.

Besides Bay Area fans being the biggest loser in this, I think a close 2nd comes the Chargers and the Rams. Especially the Chargers :x

LA would have been preferred, obviously by Mark too. I think they said the value of the Rams franchise went up 30% just by moving to LA.

In hindsight you have to blame all the parties involved for letting the stadium get to such a rundown state. Like did they ever do maintenance on that ****

You're right. This is Mark's ego inflating here, but I doubt he sells the team. He's just trying to jump out of his pops shadows right now.

If the owners deny him Vegas then I'm curious to see what happens after that. If the NFL doesn't want Davis running the team (which had been rumored) than now is the time to start squeezing him out.

Makes you wonder how it will impact the players especially the young ones and rookies getting cashed out for the first time in their lives and only a couple miles away casinos, clubs, strip clubs, the whole nine yards. Does it equal more trouble?

Of course. Can you imagine being 21 and making minimum $500k? And living in Vegas?!!

Jamarcus Russell wouldn't have made it out of training camp. Hell, I use to hear stories about Woodson early in his career having some crazy parties

The heavy hitting owners seem to support Vegas. But if this is another secret vote like last year for the Rams then I wouldn't be surprised if some turned their back on Mark.

Mark did not try that hard to get a stadium in Oakland. He never wanted to stay here.
**** him and his minivan
