Anybody own newer 300/Charger?

Alright, I've always wanted a 300/Charger and I'm finally in the financial position I can (comfortably) buy one. Probably a used 2015 so I don't take the initial new car depreciation hit.

Can anybody give me some insight on the reliability of these things? Yes, I know (insert Toyota) might be better, yes I know it's not "da M3" therefore I won't get "da cheeks". Just trying to get some opinions from people who have owned either vehicle.

Thanks in advance.

300s hemi, u won't regret it, good car. Solid interior, up to date tech, decent speed, spacious and looks great.

I currently have a 2015 loaded 300S

Solid vehicle especially if you can get it for low price and low miles

Off subject, I drove one of the first year back '06 (I think) Charger Hemi's. The orange joint. Till this day the smoothest ride I've ever driven.

I have a 2016 Charger Scat Pack and it's the best car I've ever had.

I've had a 2010 Charger and a 2013 Challenger previously and if you didn't know any better you would think a totally different car company made it.

I have a 2016 Charger Hellcat that I bought with 4 miles on the odometer in July. Love the ride and its so smooth. Really dont know theres 707 hp under the hood until you romp on it. Love the fit and finish of it.

I had 4 Jeep Grand Cherokees (all purchased new) before with the last 2 being SRT's (2010 and 2015 respectively) and to me it is night and day how these cars were assembled. I know its not the same plant as the Chargers but its like a different car company made it.

I guess its because the Jefferson plant cranks out so many Grand Cherokees they have to rush but the quality is no where near my Hellcats fit and finish.

Deals on leftover Hellcats and non Hellcat chargers can be found if you look. Heard some people get as low as 63k for a brand new one.

And if you dont want a Hellcat, Scatpacks and regular 5.7 hemi leftover chargers have deals out as well. Just have to do some searching!

Good luck!

Man, I saw a 2015 300c Platinum for $21k with 25k miles. Looked like a damn good deal.

Thanks for the advice y'all. I know in the past Chryslers have been known to fall apart , so that's my biggest concern.

Dealership about 40 miles from me was clearing out charger scat packs for a little over 30k

I rode in a 300S last week for an uber ride and now I'm seriously considering buying a used 2015 or leftover 2016. Just the V6 though, don't need the hemi. I would prefer better mpg. Found this one on Craigslist that I'm going to negotiate for:

da hemi has better mpg cuz of cylinder deactivation....and it keeps a higher resell.

Not if you had a lead foot

I always got bad gas mileage in my hemi"s

I had the 2012 charger hemi and 2014 300S hemi

Got terrible mileage in both. Hell I have the v6 right now and mines pretty bad and we haven't even had that much snow

The only issue I ever had with my previous 300 was the fuel pump went out twice about 4 months apart from each other which I guess is really rare to even go out once on a basically new car.

Other than that, I've never had issues with any of my cars aside from that.

My girl and her ATS, I think she's been in the dealership 20 times in the last year :x

Never thought about that. That's a feature you can turn off though correct?

Resale value is something I'm kind of considering, but at the end of the day, it's a Chrysler....not a sought after ride. Don't expect to get much out of it after I'm done with it.

Yooo since we on Chrysler/Dodge topics,

What y'all think of a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Not the basic one, but not the srt either.

Like the overland or summit?

Can you hemi owners chime in here, how much mpg are you getting?

Got a '14 Blacktop RT..obv, hemi

MPG sucks. I'm guessing around 15/16 MPG for city driving.

Love the car, but when I drive it on the regular, I feel like I'm at the gas station 2x per week.

Gonna be the same deal when I get rid of the charger and get a Jeep Wrangler

Very Nice but I don't think they're worth the money at all
