I am rooting for Jacobs and hope he at least gives a good account of himself. Realistically, I know GGG is going to send him through the canvas.

That was a great performance by Jacob but Quillin was regressing in every fight. He was losing to Rosado until the ref or doctor stopped the fight and he got a draw vs Andy Lee.

Speed is not the way t beat GGG, you must earn that mans respect in the first 3 rounds to keep him from being purely offensive in the fight, GGG has yet to fight on his heels as a pro

If so that KO doesnt look as impressive but it will still go down as a win for him. Ive been saying for sometime now that Stevens is too small for the weight class but im not sure his body will allow for him to go any lower in weight honestly
 
Just ran across this thread, I've been a huge boxing fan since I was a kid and have been watching ever since.

GGG is probably my favorite active fighter right now, but Jacobs is no slouch. It should be an interesting fight that could go in many directions depending how each fighter comes out. 
 
Who you guys got tomorrow?

Danny has got heart so i see him taking GGG pretty far. I know everyone says he has power....but GGG has been hit by Stevens and Lemioux pretty flush and i think both of them punch harder then jacobs.

But i admittedly haven't seen a lot of Jacobs fights

pulling for GGG though

Even monroe was tagging the **** out of him and it didnt phase him. The only way he can beat ggg is if he knocks him out, and thay aint happening.
 
I've got GGG but in no way am I saying Jacobs is not a threat. Jacobs can also box and not just rely on his power. It should be a great fight. 
 
I got golovkin tomorrow in a brutal beatdown followed by a stoppage during round 6 or 7.

I don't think golovkin is going to lose a fight during his pro career and if he does it definitely won't be at middleweight. No one can hurt him enough at this weight to beat him
 
I shouldve known better then to watch HBO video now I want to order the fight

HBO's build up to fights will forever be the GOAT, to bad no other network has been able to replicate it
 
I'm definitely ordering. May sound ridiculous but as a longtime boxing fan, i'm down to "support" events where dudes finally step up and put pen to paper for a fight like this.

Plus the drinks and food are MUCH cheaper at my crib (especially the scotch) so I feel like it all balances out.

Couple of homies coming through and will bring some drinks, grub, :smokin and/or likely hit me with some paper, so it all feels cheaper than rolling out to me.

I wish i had enough friends that liked boxing to go in on a fight. I'd pay 1/4 the cost to see it. But like the HD streams now a days are like $80....id pay $20 max

This! Scotch and live boxing events are the best!
 
Im gona be busy lookin for a stream munchin on steak and potatoes. Id rather pay for a 12 round slugfest, that aint happenin mañana tho.

Same here. It's expensive but not that much different than a night out with food and drinks. These are the two best guys in the division with a P4P top guy on the undercard.

Only way to keep the top guys fighting each other is to support the events when they do happen. If they get paid the same amount to fight a scrub, they'll fight the scrub every single time.
