He's been looking horrible for awhile now, but if Chavez is actually focused I think he gives Canelo a real tough fight. I damn near want to put a little bread on him winning.

Granted "if Chavez is focused" applies to his whole career but whatever, I think the size could really make a difference.

How can you say GGG and Canelo don't fight the best in their division(s) and then bring up the Charlo brothers? Who have they fought worth mentioning? :lol:

And I don't know why anybody bad mouths Trout. Dude was one of the top fighters at 154 when he fought Canelo and I remember lots of people picking Trout to win.

Show me the resume of any 26 year old boxing, and let's compare it to Canelo's. I BET you can't find a better resume of any fighter 26 or younger.

No one is being petty. I just call it how I see it.

Canelo biggest wins up to date has been against the old Cotto and old Mosley. If Canelo fought them in their prime, He would get a beatdown. Canelo is entering the prime of his career. Time to put up or shut up. He better beat Chavez JR, He better beat GGG. If he does this things, then yeah he is one of the best in boxing right now.


Same for my man GGG. Dude might be a little older, but he needs to put up or shut up. Beating up the Andy Lee's or James Gale's of the world don't prove ish. No more cake walks for TRIPLE G.

I never said the CHARLO Brothers were great or that they fight anyone. I just think these dudes would get worked by them.


just like I don't bring up Spence, or BUD. Both dudes are solid, but its time for them to take it to the next level..

I think he is focused.  Nacho only really ran into one problem with him during camp wanting to leave, which is a big thing for him

But Jr's chance in this fight depends on what he looks like on the scale.  We all know he's going to look gaunt as hell, but if ends up looking like someone who just got out of Auschwitz he has no chance. 

He should have kept that bet with Canelita and showed up at like 170

  Last time I went for the Canelo-Cotto fight it was pretty empty.

For $18 a ticket it's a pretty good deal.

Thought about this just for the size of the screen and sound and sneaking in some henny. But nah id rather kick it at home. Definitely NOT streaming this fight.

Only thing that looked weird was his concave midsection... At first I thought he was sucking in the whole time.
