At $500 why not get an authentic watch from a cheaper brand?

I get it but I'm not sure they same can apply to shoes because a watch can hold value for longer thank kicks if you're worried about that. The shoes risk getting damaged through age whether you wear it or not, whereas when it comes to a watch it can be a simple fix if age gets to it,

You can't have your cake and eat it too, is that how it goes? In reality in the shoe game for the most part you can, it's called doubling up, one to rock and one to stock. Again just my thoughts.

If someone buys fakes, it's their prerogative. I don't support it in general but in this discussion, I do, because the reselling has gotten out of hand, IMHO.

Is not to be condoned in any circumstances. If the OGs saw this tread right now, talking about its ok to buy fakes because the authentic are really expensive, they be flaming up these boys big time :lol:

Everyone has their own choice, and do as they please, it's fine. Personally I believe in investing in something of good quality, worth that hard earned money. If you buy that cheaper item you might not be satisfied or it falls apart and you end up buying the better quality item down the line, you would have paid more with 2 purchases, instead of one and done. In some instances if you spent wisely, some items even when used retain much of the value or even gains.

Connect had an 11 but I made him switch out to my true sz 10.5 not knowing it was a leather inner,now I'm afraid it might be too tight.
Anyone already wore theirs can tell me how they fit?

I'm a 10.75 tts and went 10.5 in these bc of the leather liner. Leather liner makes everything fit big bc it gives so much. You should be good.

I've never had a leather lined shoe that wasn't roomier. For instance, I go 11 in all AM1 but go down to 10.5 on leather lined AM1. On NB, I go 10.5 but go down to 10.

What someone does with their money is on them...i wouldn't rock fakes but if the person dont care so be it...only way i can give a damn is if im kaws or of i spent a load of bread for a pair and the guy with reps rocking them and no one notices or cares and looks at them the same.....or worse they look at both and think mine is fake. :lol:

However; if i someone i know rocking some fufus ima roast them.....most likely if they know they fake they wont care cause it looks identical. Looks being the main factor for the average joe out here.

@rome138: I understand your reasoning for protecting something that goes beyond what product is to more of a collectable value. You got some decent counterpoints from BB. I like watches too, now down to good solid 10 of them in rotation. Sincerely hope as you get older and make more money, you'll move away from wasting $500 fake to owning 4 digit-5 digit real goods. Just spend the money for maintenance. Also hope you get good return from the Kaws you won.
