Some navy OG and retro comparison pics..Ricky’s sent wrong size and now the 12 is gone smh. I wish Nike would put some effort into these retro Jumpmans, especially at this price point. Quality is bad. $145 retail. But I still like them somehow :ohwell:

Just removed the insoles and noticed these have forefoot Zoom :wow:

.. same narrow trapezoid they’re using in the 13s, 14s, but wow what a surprise. I’ve only seen them advertised as ‘air sole’.

They still haven't switched back to zoom air in these have they? I sold my blk and golds always wanted another pair, but refuse to buy another pair until the original tach is back in them. The retros were by far and away the most uncomfortable shoes I ever purchased. Like walking on cardboard. Sucks this silhouette is maybe one of my top 5 of all time. Still remember freaking out when I saw them at a mom and pop shop the summer after the 11 breds dropped and the salesman said they were the jordan 12s lol I begged and pleaded with my mom to get me a pair, she'd just bought be the i.es and breds the last month. I think I was 6th grade maybe 7th. Left with the black and blue og colors, then was able to scoop the at the time footaction exclusive blk amd golds. Later I found out they were not the 12s but a jumpman shoe. Still loved them kg was my man at the time and he rocked them so I was still happy.

Doubt it. Nobody plays in these. If I feel the need I’ll drop in a Zoom SB insole or the aftermarket ones they used to have on Amazon. There’s zero connection to these with the newer generation, even though they can recite every detail about the numbered models from what they read off Google. I had 3 of the OGs up until about 2 years ago. Leather was beautiful and it held up. Father time caught up to them though lol

Guess I'll keep holding out... sooner or later I feel like we'll get an og retro with proper specs. These were the first men's size shoes I bought and I still have fond memories of how comfortable they were. These and the two flightposites I bought around the same time to this day I swear are the most comfortable shoes I've bought in my long collecting days. Those eggplant and gold flightposits were incredible. Think the eggplants were kinda made to bring kobe over to nike... didn't work at the time but I had to have those too. I just knew kobe was coming to nike. They were a hard pair to find, eastbay had like a brick and mortar store or mall type clearance outlet store at the time in the Houston galleria and they just happened to have the eggplants for sale (on sale) along with some of the tb colors of jordans they only sold in eastbay want to say the 15s in red and white highbtops, green and white, and white and purple. Cool store wish they never closed it.

NDC EU had them for 50% off, came out to €75. My nostalgia is strong for the Jumpman Pro model. I can live with the non-OG colourway.
