Jordan Retro 2 "Decon" Thunder Blue & Sail/Bio Beige $160 July 15th 2017

- All of the tech is in the sole, so I see no reason to expect them to be less comfortable than other IIs. Plus I'm running their fade if there isn't an ortholite insole in there.

- It's suede for sure. You can see the nap pretty clearly if you enlarge the on-foot pic of that green pair. You can see the contrast of shades on the Burgundy pics too.

- Sizing is a good question that I'll be keeping my eye out for an answer on once they drop.

- If the pairs in the OP are still scheduled to release, I expect those two to have a solid upper on a different color solid sole. They seem to not want to get too elaborate on these Decon models.

- to me half the interest in 2s are the comfort around the ankle as well though. great feeling
- if it's suede, ehhhh. kinda like canvas because I'd wear them in all weather. would be nice to see
- yup,
- good news

These actually go hard [emoji]128563[/emoji][emoji]128563[/emoji][emoji]128563[/emoji]

I wasn't a fan of the 1s but the 2s look good. I will be copping all 3 colorways especially the Boudreaux

I don't understand why JB won't stop playing games and just retro the OG AJKO 2s.. These are so rare because they were originally only meant as samples but somehow had an extremely limited release back in 1986/1987 (I don't think this was intended but releases weren't as strict back then as they are now). I honesty have no idea why they were never retroed. The more I think about it, these might be the rarest Retro Jordan model (not cw) ever produced.
Repped. Never heard of/seen these before.

Also the bordeaux colorway of these deconstructed 2s doesn't look bad at all

I hope 2017 will be the year people finally forget the group think bandwagon hate for the 2s. No they aren't the greatest shoe ever inspired by the best player ever, but they are great in their own right and don't deserve the hate they get(excluding every piece of trash 2 from 2014 )

**** that.

May the general lack of interest in the IIs as a model continue in and beyond 2017, so those of us that differ may continue to enjoy discounts on all the non-collaboration releases :smokin

- Very valid point. That part of the comfort equation will be nowhere to be found here, judging by the pics

- There's definitely a little bit of a loss in versality with suede, but they might not make the other two suede so there's still hope.

THey need to do a deconstructed version of the low in a white leather or suede. Almost like a common projects version of the 2. That would be killer and look great with jeans and chinos since the shoe would be much thinner and slimmer (slim down the midsole
Slightly as well). I feel like the 2 design is very expensive looking and gives off an upscale sneaker vibe before that was even a thing (especially when the toebox is shaped like the originals).

I guess you can say these are less deconstruct than how they did the 1's. Interested to see more pics

I have the Bordeaux flipped with the Mint personally, but I agree that the Yellow, while nice; is the pair I'm most willing to let chill out until they can be had for the lowest of lows.

Never have I been truly interested in a pair of 2s as much as I am now, these are nice though! Wow lol & I think I agree with the point above that they have the more upscale sneaker design look to them, it helps with these I feel
