Recommend a beach

Will be w/ my wife, a 4 year old, and a 1.5 year old

Something that is not too expensive...Nantucket seemed like a cool idea albeit costly

York beach is only about and hour drive from Boston and it's beautiful. My family stayed at a hotel on the beach for only about $60 a night. Believe me there is tons to do up there

Thanks for the input, though months late

Going to Milford, CT prior to Boston

Driving from PA so it's about halfway there

Any good Shoe Spots in Bloomington or Boston? Heading there in August for a week and am eager to catch some good stuff

Bodega and Concepts are probably the must sees in terms of sneakers. Concepts in Cambridge is their flagship, but they also have a store near Bodega on Newbury Street. Concepts on Newbury is an Adidas partner store though.

If you're looking at Vans, there's a Vans General Store on Newbury as well.

Niketown Boston is cool to check out and around the corner from that is the Tannery. They have a crazy selection of high fashion sneakers and clothes, and in the basement is the Wilderness Workshop with a lot of nice outdoor gear.
