Places to live in Dallas for young professionals

What up nt fam? I will be moving to dallas from houston for a job soon and was wondering if any of my dallas nters can recoomend a good place to live. A few criteria

I would prefer to pay less than 1k a month

I wanna place in/near the city (idk if that is possible for my price range tho)

Good place for a young professional to live (24yr old male)

fun activities and place to visit nearby

its be gonna be hard to stay in the hotspots in Dallas for 1k, esp. if you are trying to be in uptown. Id look at Addison or be willing to live a a little further out like Las Colinas or HEB you can def find good spots for 1k a month

Thanks for the advice!  For the record what does HEB stand for ?
 
OP HEB means Hurst, Euless, Bedford , its not too far out depending on where you work at in Dallas. Again I'd look at Addison which is basically north dallas cause you arent that far from the kind of stuff you wanna be around in Dallas and you can find a decent place in your price range.

You can find a few spots in North Dallas for under a stack. You have to move during this time of year though

I've lived at Beltline/Tollway when I first moved and that **** was great.
