And is it true that it knocks your credit score down 50 pts? Seems beyond unfair, since that affects so many other parts of your life including your ability to earn.
 
I make $60k or so more than her. She's definitely going to try to put me on, and this is one of those states that does the add both salaries, divide by 2, subtract the lower earning from the average and divide by 12 model.

Same time, I've seen THAT movie before too. You not doing it officially, then you go and move on in life and she gets salty and then sues you for current PLUS back CSUP. I been keeping my receipts but still, not at all confident in the courts' ability to render a fair decision. Probably put me on like 2k a month and give me ****** visitation like every other weekend
 
Tell her no law involved n work something out .... have receipts or online money transfer records n u should be straight

I just transfer a certain amount into my daughter's account every month , don't even gotta talk to her mom if I don't want to :lol: ...n if she need anything extra I ask the BM to text me what she wants so I got a record of that n I transfer that in the account too ...got my bases covered without the state and/or the police dept messin wit me ...I've seen where the dude kept good records and ended up paying less on the child support order than what he was paying before the court got involved ...had shorty sick, looking dumb out Chea :lol:

Man the first time we got in a big argument and she pulled that whole, I can take the baby and put you on child support, threat I called a few lawyers. Most of them mutha*****s want like $500 just to talk to you. They'll say free consult and let you spill your situation then by like want my take, ok that'll be 5 bills. One told me since we're unwed I need to get my paternity recognized, so I have to sign an affidavit of paternity and present it to a judge. Sounds easy enough, probably just a standardized form I can sign and take up myself. Nah, she swears I can't and have to use them, which of course she wanted $2500.

I mean we're ok now, just wondering. Figure we might not make it through 2017.

And it's not just the money aspect, more importantly is access to my daughter and her not being raised by a family of bitter females.

Bruh I pay $900 a month for my ONE 4 year old, joint custody, and my co-parent makes a little more than me a year :smh:

And its only $900 because I took her back to court to get it reduced from 1100 :x

I could real live have her come up missing for less than what I pay

DAMN!! You pay $900 and have joint custody!! WTF is wrong with the court system. That sound crazy

CS is crazy. My BM just sent in her response to my petition. Chick wants me to cover life insurance, 100% of medical when I already carry my little guy on my insurance, & we're splitting day care, primary custody and all rights to claim him for taxes. Me & my lawyer just looked at that joint and laughed.

Speaking of taxes , thats one thing shorty does to Piss me off ...shorty gets ALL the bread from the kid come tax time n still gets pissy asking me for extras n **** like she just ain't get them stacks ...I'm like she shouldn't be asking for no extra **** till at least the summer time with all that money she got back :lol:

Mine did the same **** last yr. Baby was born like 2 weeks before tax deadline to be filed and she had been unemployed/on unemployment most of that fiscal year and they still gave her *** $5,000. No coincidence that was in mid February when those checks hit when she call herself trying to break up with me (we'd get back together 5 days later), and she still complained about me telling her to get a Uhaul so she can take her **** back or put it in storage. And I know one year my sister had me claim her 2 and we split 9 stacks
 
Datz I just saw your post I don't think you should be paying that much for a lawyer. My whole case was the price & it included the acknowledgement of paternity. Granted my cousin is my lawyer but I'd assume that's her going rate.
 
Two things I've never dealt with and want no parts of is child support and a dui. Me and my chick just split and I legitimately can not believe how petty she's been acting,mainly because I normally looked at her ad a very mature person :smh: when that heart gets hurt then the gloves come off I see. Can't imagine how she'd be acting if we had a kid; I'd probably end up in jail for something if she tried to pull some crazy petty stuff.

In a case like MchunuDon's, does the Mom have to show proof how she spent the money? That seems to be where the court system goes dumb. Mom gets three new pairs of shoes and new rims. Daughter still wearing a year old sweater that barely fits. Or god forbid, she buys some $100 pair of jordans that will fit for maybe 3 months. College fund, 401k Should be where 90% of a kids fund should be going.

If I'm paying support, I want it untouched unti 18 years of age with my own discretion in how its allocated.
