Just wio. Her response will determine if you should actually take her on a date

Depends on the girl

I once went to a gun range on a first date.
Got banned from the gun range.

Good times.
What's the story on this?

Keep it simple bro. Don't spend a lot of $ on someone you barely know. That's why drinks or coffee is the cheapest route you can take on a first date, plus it gives you a chance to talk and get to know her

Dat

I think the thread should be titled "second date"

First date should be feeling each other out.

You can talk about what y'all going to do on the second date too peak her curiosity.

This, I cringe when I hear women I know talking about expensive first dates with dudes they never saw again.

I took old 8 or 9 kid having fat ankle CMA to a Thunder playoff game (think that would have been the WCFs), probably dropped bout $225 or so per on tickets. Didn't see the problem at the time, wasn't like I was doing it to impress broads or stunt/flex, it is (was) just my lifestyle and stuff I already do so when dating I was just like wanna roll? Hindsight, and in the future, AppleBees or something though. Think I'm even going to see if broads will agree to going dutch or paying, then still pay, but just shows where their head and life game is at if they're going to try to front on me over copping their own portion at Fuzzy's Tacos

And in NYC, shouldn't be hard to find something.

I like Bowling. Unlimited free stares at that *** all night, kind of competitive but not really, still fun, and you can drink/eat/talk while you do it still.

Mini golf, pool, stuff like that is cool too. Don't know if yall have a Dave and Busters, Main Event, HeyDay type place like that. Laser Tag is fun surprisingly, never did it as a first date but why not? In fact, you should start here

Someone mentioned those wine and a painting tours, those are all over Groupon and Livnigsocial, same with the Murder Mysteries or Escape a room missions. That would make you 2 work together and really interact so definitely would see if there's a chemistry spark.

Invite to the house and cook is always easy.

Take her to one of them tea rooms they got there in NYC. Wear corduroy pants or at least some Clarks desert boots. Casually tell her that you saw the place on Anthony Bourdain's Parts Unknown. You'll be teabagging her later that night.

Aside from drinks at a bar or dinner & a movie -- something creative but not over the top.

Edit: I guess location and time of year matters, so let's say NYC winter season.
Nobody reads. I saw carnival/local fair, fishing...

Some people are suggesting some expensive *** dates lol.

Keep it simple fam, first date, what I've usually done before being with my current girl was meeting up with women at Bryant Park for a handful of reasons

Women love parks and this park is unique cause it's surrounded by mad **** to do, there is absolutely 0% chance of not finding something to do.

•there's this really awesome Japanese bookstore/cafe across the street called Kinokuniya where you can sit down and converse for a while, after that, Groupon one of those touristy city bus tours, if you do it right, you'll probably end up spending less than $20 and they take you all the way to the Barclay's stadium from times Square, bonus points if you get the night tour cause you catch that sunset that the women like.

•The New York Public Library is right behind the park, it's free and also it's a dope place to go in by itself, there's also a cafe in there if I recall correctly that y'all can also converse at, once again, the city bus tour.

•near there of course is times sq where y'all can go and talk **** about the tourists and go to, no joke, the Ripley's museum, it's cheap and it's actually pretty fun.

These 3 things will have both of y'all spending every minute together, giving you opportunity to hopefully on a later date smash.

Also, Bryant Park, around this time has an ice rink, it doesn't matter if you've pirouette'd your whole life or never set foot in a rink, I guarantee that if you both do it together, y'all are gonna have a good time

Mention taking her to arbys

If she say yes ..... Abort mission
If she say eww arbys ..... Wife her

\thread

some of this **** wont fly if ur tryna bag a dime lol "walk around manhattan"

Women are women, no need to put them on a pedestal because of their looks though it's easy to do. If a chick just seems into what I can buy her or anything financial wise, I immediately halt things there.

I meant you should probably supplement that with a little something. grabbing a drink, food, checking out an exhibit, etc.

someone mentioned yoga on the first date. that would be interesting

MOMA, or really any museum, MMOA is also dope,

take her to a game if she's into sports,

or better yet, gym date, like if you're coordinated enough not to make an *** out of yourself sign up to a 1 on 1 boxing class with her,

really bruh you need to assess what kind've girl you're dealing with her and move accordingly. you know better than us, the possibilities are endless in NYC.

proximity is key too, you don't want take a long *** commute that'll eat up time for other things.

Museum in Nyc still have the pay wtv you want entry fee?

Easy choice and you save some $.

Never spend alot of money on a first date. That's too risky.

if she's a nice piece, she prolly already been taken to a museum before.

but hey, there's nothing wrong with communicating, ask her. has anyone ever taken you to ______.

be ready to audible, or even run the play option and go somewhere there is a lot of different venues to choose from.
