Anybody work at the POST OFFICE.. come in !

U can sell dope there lol...swisher wrappers all over the parking lot and inside

When they moved me to the holiday packages places I found a 4 pound box of weed from cali...it had 2 1/2 pounds inside :nerd:

The key to USPS is getting in on the maintenance side. Easy to move up the chain and make great money within a few years without all the grueling physical work.

It's not always glamorous, but I'll be damned if it isn't the easiest job in a postal plant. Tour One ftw--naps galore.

Interesting, mind going into more detail? What exactly does working in maintenance entail? Is prior experience required?

Lots of different jobs within the maintenance side of things.  Custodian, building maintenance, electronic technician, etc.

You don't work with mail so the general atmosphere is much more laid back.  And while every job besides management requires physical labor, it is much less intensive than being a mail handler or postal clerk.  The best part is that there isn't someone lording over you for your entire shift.  If you work while they're running mail you basically only work on machines when a problem arises and they call for you.  If you work when mail isn't being ran, you work at your own pace cleaning/maintaining the machines.

Building maintenance is just how it sounds--you maintain the facility by doing random upkeep jobs day to day.  And if you're needed at another local postal facility to fix something you do that too.

And if you're on the custodian side of things you basically have 8 hours to do 2 hours worth of work.  The job is reserved for disabled vets so the atmosphere is SUPER lax.

Tour One is the GOAT b/c all the big wigs aren't there overnight and napping in the maintenance swing room is standard procedure.  Seriously, if you don't sleep in between doing work here and there you look funny in the light.

The ets tour 1 be all gathered around in rolling chairs watching movies on their laptops lol then they get all mad when the machine messes up

The day I went like I said I was alone 7 apcs, the machine kept stopping I was then all of sudden I had like 4 ets and some guy in a suit came and shut it down and my manager came looked at me dirty and said take all stuff like 5 lanes down and finish it there

Also what's up with the stupid traps they set lol...like little fake jewelry everywhere 50 cents coins or 75 cents even a couple dollar bills lying around your keyboard and monitor smh

^ The traps are real.

I remember my first day they told me if you see ANY money, just leave it be. There's still coins sitting in random spots that have been there for years.

****** be setting traps tho? Geez..

There's a thing called a VMF (vehicle maintenance facility) that's a standalone facility (at least here it is).  All they do is maintain postal vehicles.

suspicious packaging, with no return address and if someone turns it in

Most likely most don't care unless your package is ticking or glass coming out or white powder substance...unless it's ticking extremely loud idk how they would hear it it's so loud I would never hear when overtime was called

I heard they put cameras in Certain outlets lol they really be trying to catch people lol

how do yall deal with dogs :nerd:
