Marijuana is about to blow!! How to invest?

So pretty much at this point it's looking like nationwide legalization of marijuana is inevitable.

I just got some free stock from my job that I can cash out but instead I want to reinvest it on cannabis.

I'm pretty sure we got some smart NTers on here already doing so and would like some advice on the matter

If you do go for the pharmaceutical stocks, or edibles noone can hate on that. Presidential nominee Gary Johnson was, or still is a CEO of a Marijuana company. If only he'd won, smh... I know his first order of business would have been to legalize. 3D printing (they been experementing with printing human organs I read somewhere, need a new heart just print one... tech is getting crazy)and Tesla (their battery giga factory is gonna take them to a whole other level) wouldn't be a bad choice either... if they're still affordable.

Invest in yourself bro the space is wide open. If you can't find a profitable niche in the pioneering stages of an industry this size then you're completely helpless.

Honestly I have always wished that this market wasn't so secretive. There's just no way around it though. You can't just talk about what you're doing.

1. Take your stock, cash it out, buy property in Detroit on/near the 6mile-9mile dispensaries.
2. Hire staff.
3. ???
4. Profit!

I read a few articles about buying and renting out warehouses to growers. In Colorado rental prices doubled.

Last I checked mj stocks weren't doing much.

One stock I can think of it Medicineman Tech MDCL (OTCMKTS). They consult and have retail operations.

Be very cautious OP, while legal in tons of states until there is a federal legalization, where and how you move money within the industry continues to be a problem.

Weed is selling and business while booming it insanely difficult for most shops, growers and investors to manage and grow that money beyond cold hard cash. Banks aren't taken money from dispensaries and investors can still be charged with distribution charges if the government so chooses to go after them.

This is what lawyers are for.

Hear a lot of talking about grow ops. That market is saturated. If you aren't doing it by now forget about it.

Not sure about stocks. Small businesses are the way to go. Have my own business in the industry and I'm not sharing anything with NT. You can't google your way to success in this industry either. Start networking go to some trade shows. If you're in DC there's a MJ biz con in May my company will have a booth there. Good opportunity to meet people.

i can be in the same astroplane sober. the best you is sober you......


ima take a lot of slack but......what is the reason to smoke weed???


the way you feel high, i can feel sober.


again let me emphasize...i smoked ALOT of weed.

i can understand special occasions, or if you take a trip to amsterdam or something like that but the everyday thing....i do not see the appeal now.

Current administration + supreme court being conservative for the next 40 years?

Yeah I expect Trump's DEA raiding dispensaries in these MJ friendly states which will trigger massive lawsuits not just from the State but from individuals. Some owners of these dispensaries will always be one step forward though. Take one shop down, another pops up in a month. Billion dollar industry so I am sure the Feds will eventually want their piece of the pie... yes we're talking about Federal Tax revenues. CA in 2018 will definitely change the landscape.

Why do you expect raids? Like do you have anything to base that expectation off? I don't expect raids. The reeferloution will be televised. There's a 4200 joint salute in the nations capital on Friday and the mayor has already announced no one would be arrested.
