What car to buy for < $10k ?

If you spend all of your disposal cash on a busted whip your dumb... which kind of lines up with letting your wife take 2 vehicles

But hey do you, when the ****** goes or you need new tires dont be up in here starting fictious go fund mes

Anyway cop a japanese car with as low miles as possible and flourish

Not too many cars youd be proud to own that will also last awhile are only 10k

My picks from the Japan big 3

Acura Integra
Acura TL
Acura RSX

Lexus GS
Lexus IS
Lexus SC

Infiniti G35
Infiniti EX35

04-08 TL's & TSX's are nice and cheap

FWD thou...

Ga'head with them rwds in the NY winters.

I rather buy da RL wit da S-AWD V6 from da same era...they go for similar numbers and da RL slept on.... they're basically cheaper bigger versions of da TL-S-AWD from da next gen.

da 2010-2012 last gen refreshed ford fusion sport AWD wit da duratec V6 is another good pick.

when i hang up da laces fulltime (ill be toe & dabbin from here on out) & get my jewelry in order, I'm hopping in da car community head first.

Sounds like u got **** planned out gotta respect that, I might be copping my first whip in a couple months I'm definitely gonna hit u with a few questions when I'm getting ready to purchase.

Do NOT buy an Audi / Benz / BMW for $10k.

Sounds like a good idea, until you realize how damn expensive the parts / service are.  I had a 2004 Audi A4, bought it for $17k with 35k miles and sold it for $9500 with 103k miles.  During that time, I probably put close to $10k into it, and did a lot of the work myself.   Fuel pump went out, $600.  Timing belt service every 60k miles is ~$1200. 3 window regulators went out at $350 each.  2 speed sensors went out, $90 each (I did the labor).  Windshield wiper motor went out, bought a used one for like $300 and did labor myself.  Coil packs blew out regularly, $35 each (always kept a few spares in the trunk).   Final straw was when the AC Compressor went out and the part alone was $800, and they wanted $1400 to install.  No thanks.

Sold it and bought a new Grand Cherokee.  Been a good vehicle, but I'm skeptical of the long term quality.

Bruh id take her to court and get that civic. Thats 10k in yo pocket... FDB
