Man doesn't do anything after a guy slaps his girl's phone out her hand on NYC Subway

Now this is just a bad situation overall, but what would you guys have done in this situation?  Crazy people have been getting more bold on public transit as of recent so it's a realistic situation.

People haven't been getting "more bold" on Public Transportation. It has always been there. People just have phones now.

But to answer your question, just like Oladipo and Enes Kanter, you HAVE to do something. You HAVE to, you can't just stand there and let someone do that to her

People get killed over much less these days

Say something or stand up sure but people carrying and kill over nothing. Unless you have a gun on you, idk

the hell with that...i carry because anything can go down at any moment and i rather be ready than not

Sometimes minding your business doesnt work. You can attract the wrong attention simply by having a good fit/jewlery on.Ive been heckled on the Subway on 2 different occasions. On both occasions i had on my ear phones. This chick was talking to me.I couldn't hear her.So she gets up and stands in front of me going off.I had on some DS Lebron Zoom 3,s on.I take off my head phones.Chick is talking crazy about how my shades are fake. How i cant afford the new Lebrons because im wearing old lebrons.Im looking like wtf.Cat beside me said she was trying to talk to you.But you didn't respond.Put the headphones back on.And just mugged her until she sits back down. The next story is to long to explain.Theres legit crazy people who ride the train.I want to know the back story to this.Did 1 of them know him from way back.Did this start from 1 of them talkinv about him before the camera starts rolling.Im asking this because shes to calm. Her man is acting like the female. Its one thing to ignore someone before something pops off.But this cat is about to jump out of his body.Maybe there just friends and hes gay.Because theres no shell be wanting him after this situation.

Bruh....

His reaction...

His chicks' face....

The fact that dude who was in his face looked like slight work....

:smh:

Got to be careful. I wouldn't take it and would throw hands in that situation but Lot of dudes are strapped. Lot of dudes can't and won't throw hands especially where I'm from. People blast. Had guns pulled on me before, even robbed at gun point.
Sorry but I ain't going to die over some replaceable possessions or some hurt feelings.

I dont believe people should be able to carry. In the house, yes.Outside for what.If your a working person living in a bad neighborhood. Then thats justifiable. But its to many people who dont need a gun. That are getting them.Having a gun is not the problem. Its the i need to carry every where i go mentality. Its a recipe for a disaster when a simple argument on the street, train, road rage ends in someone dying.Just because someone is having a bad day,or cant control there emotions.Or just because someone has been going to the gun rage after getting there license. So they cant wait for something to pop off.So they can justifiably kill someone.By saying they felt threatened.Even if the other person doesn't have a weapon on them.If you have beef in the streets with someone,or a few people. Then i understand.Theres alot of people who shouldn't be able to carry. That comes with good decision making/responsibility.Instead of pulling out your gun the first chance you get.

If it's just you, you can react however you want, but when it's done to someone who's with you, you gotta stand up for them.

Then let them hold you back so you dont get caught up in some dumb ****

It's a tactic I've used more than once

The girl doesnt think you're a spineless coward and you didnt even have to throw hands for her honor to prove it

Not directed at you or anyone in this thread but im going to speak in general too. No one in this thread said they carry everyday. But if you do im not knocking you its your right just like knowing your rights before you use it. Most people with licenses aint going out looking for someone to shoot people would rather feel safe about the what IF's than to find yourself in a life and death situation with your family and cant defend yourself. IE active shooter

Im not gambling my life or my fams life on what if just because i feel like there aint people out there who will rob you gun point or try to kill you over car rage or turn into a active shooter because they having a bad day.

Yall keep gambling yall fam and your life and dont protect yourselves because normal people dont do that on a daily basis.

I be been "punked" by crazy homeless people on 2 different occasions. First time my friends and I were at an arcade/ bar this guy was outside popping off at everybody then he suddenly picks me out and gets in my face. Granted it was a few of us so he would've gotten stomped but it's not even worth it really. I'll take that "L". As for having a girl with you, like we're adults with real jobs. Ain't even worth it

one of my homies on the way to work in DC had a bum throw piss on him. Homey called out of worked he was pissed said it took everything in him to not kill the bum.

he said he aint know what was worse having piss thrown on him from a bum or fighting the bum while he had the bums piss on him.

My boy went to the closes officer in the streets of DC

A Kubotan. Light weight but very effective.

googles
Omg hats off to your mans. Me and the bum would've been rumbling, straight up.

Who's to say that man is crazy? For all you know she could have been taking pictures of dude and talking **** about him with her man. Need to see full video but he's clearly agitated over something

folk dont realize aint nothing normal in this world anymore.....i rather be vigilant than complacent

You understand more people got killed back in the day than now right?

In NY an DC.

Not comparable.

The majority of people who have gun licenses today.Because its the in thing right now.People makes these excuses saying what if the world ends tomorrow. Its not going to end tomorrow.Theres not active shooters on your street,or by job.If you stay in a bad neighborhood/area.I understand. When a terrorist act is committed. The majority of the damage is done. There reason why i feel this way.Is because i know more people who shouldn't have guns, compared to the people i know who should.I understand we have rights. But theres some people just buying guns because they can,not because they need them.

I always feel like it's better to know how to deescalate a situation than knowing how to fight. By deescalate, I don't mean curling up like the guy in the video. Just using your brain and social skills to get out of a bad situation safely.

There's always going to be a situation where fighting is a bad idea. You jeopardize your safety, health, job, reputation (it's going online), etc. You don't want to be the guy with a sensitive ego who feels like he's less of a man because of encounters with odd people on trains.

I understand that some people are more paranoid than others. But i find it hilarious that theres people who have real reasons to justify them carrying.Compared to those who just do it because they have the right to.Being paranoid of all the what ifs,is not the way to live. When i get a real reason presented to to me to carry, then i will.

I understand where you cominh from but you cant judge them because they are exercising their right. At least they went to a gun class and got it legally and will be held accountable if used unlawfully instead of the people who obtain illegally.

Also now that you have more people getting them because its a trend should give you more of a reason to get one to protect your self from them.

Also active shooters can happen anywhere it doesnt have to happen at work or your neighberhood.

Omg hats off to your mans. Me and the bum would've been rumbling, straight up.

Same thing i said but the bum aint got nothing to lose he probably had another trick up his sleeve if you wanted to fight lol

I would've stomped his eyes out his head or died trying. Same for my daughters. A man's job is to protect and provide. Fail and your daughters and/or women will lose respect for you no matter how they spin it.

First argument and "you wasn't saying that on the train to that wild *****" is coming out.

It's basically like insurance to them. It's very rare that a person has to use it but it's a life saver when you have it. People's obsession with carrying us bizarre to me. I've seen shirts and car tags that say something about 'I'm part of the 0.4% of people that will always carry and never give up my pistol" or some bs like that. Like why do you feel the need to have that broadcast on a shirt? I legit think these people are scarred from some event, most likely in their childhood.
