I was wondering if there are any "good" and effective ways of learning a new language and was curious to hear any of you guys' experiences while learning a language.

If anyone's curious, I'd like to learn Italian.

The easiest way really is just being around other people who speak it.Ive always wanted to try things like Rosetta Stone etc..I've heard mixed reviews though.Interactions with others is definitely the easiest though..I can hold a conversation in Spanish,and know enough German and Italian to get by.

duolingo.com and just immersion in the language. Read books in the language.

Watch some videos on youtube or wherever. Find somewhere online to speak to people in it.

And constantly practice cuz if you don't you'll lose whatever knowledge you have quicker than it took you to learn it.
