Got called today and told that I have to have my Nuerostimulation Implant removed because it's not working correctly.. ..Gotta have surgery 3 weeks before I fly out for Mania..Kinda bummed and a little pissed off..

Case how did all this back stuff start? Car accident?

I use to work at a roofing supply company delivering shingles/siding..Lifting about 500 bundles a day x's 66lbs each caused me to rupture my L4/L5 disc..I thought I just pulled a muscle so I toughed it out for about 6 weeks before I went to the dr to get it checked out..By that time the damage to my nerve was permanent..Once you have a back surgery your back never gets "fixed"..It just gets worse over time cause once your back is damaged theirs no fixing it..

I'm sure the surgery will go smooth. If you don't mind me asking, why is the risk higher of taking it out than putting it in?

Because the wires in spine that deliver the electric stimulation are being held in with scar tissue..So they have to go in and snip the scar tissue in order to be able to pull the wires out..And because they have to snip the tissue it's a higher risk for blood clot or paralysis..
