Yo The Miz's dad is a jerk lol. How you gonna say that your kid was always average in everything

Just realized AJ was probably saving that sick "Pheonomial Forearm counter into the RKO cancel" for WM.

He clearly cant use something like that with shane so he had to get if off on SD :frown:

What is your approach/philosophy when it comes to kicking out of pins? Timing wise.

Does it make more sense to wait until after the 2 count, which gives you that extra breath or do you kick out as soon as you can?
I always think about the lack of dedicated timeouts and breaks in such a physical sport.

I believe savvy wrestlers might choose to take that extra wind and kick out of a pinning predicament after two in most situations, it's risky for obvious reasons but I know I would. I imagine it's also why competitors don't place their feet on the ropes/break their tag partners' pins until after 2.

In a related story, I like when somebody pins an opponent, gets 2, and then they immediately go for another pin. That tenacious attitude is going to score somebody a win one day, you don't know if a guy has just used his last bit of energy to get out from under your 200+ pound body the first time. Maybe, just maybe, you might get him.

Oh, and I've really grown to enjoy pinning combinations...I've been practicing the School Boy since I was one, but I always smile when I see a well-executed Oklahoma Roll or that crazy thing Drago does, it's not a cheap win, it's a true display of wrestling skill!

I LOVED that. I wanted to see him win so bad after that fakeout...I thought the 450 was incoming to the prone Viper...nope. Ah well.

Hey wait, is Randy Orton the greatest counter-wrestler of the modern era? His understanding of timing and momentum is elite...besides that sweet powerslam which is a time-tested match changer, think of his on-the-fly Hyper Combo Finish with Batista at WM XXX, his unprecedented short-circuiting of the Curb Stomp against Seth Rollins, canceling Evan Bourne's SSP, all the other RKOs of unknown origin.

I mean, dude beat Luke Harper at the last PPV just by kinda "nope"-ing his spinning lariat clothesline.

Only other names that come to mind are Jericho and Edge.
