To answer the training question from a few pages back, if you're not down to spend weeks doing defensive break falls in a sweltering Latin American gym before you ever lock up, this sport isn't for you.
Confessional, I think I kinda thought I'd just walk in with my 79 inch wingspan, learn the Magistral Cradle and set out about becoming Lucha Underground champion by like next year, but the road is longer than I thought. Duh. Still a fun one, you meet some interesting masks in this line of work. As long as it's not your only path, it's enjoyable.
Anyway I feel like I'm getting a grasp of in-ring basics during my time in Puerto Vallarta, making the most out of the limited facilities (converted boxing rings, yay) and resources available, but the squared circle scene here really isn't that big and there's only a few cards in the area per year so long term I think I'm going to have to go to Guadalajara or CDMX.
In the meantime I'm keeping up with my MMA stuff when I'm not at La Planta de Energia and working on other elements of my career in the hopes of one day deserving to wear the amazing ring attire I've designed in my head. Can't be that guy who shows up in a full NBA uni and commences to building a house about 12-18 feet from the basket.

... Just stay doped out while you can... I've spent entirely too much time in hospitals lately, so I know how much it sucks... Just try to solace in the little things man...
