Man, I've been hooked on this channel for a while. They have ridiculously quality programming that covers a variety of interesting subjects.

Off the top of my head:

-****, that's Delicious
-Payday
-Hate Thy Neighbor
-Intervention
-Huang's World
-Black Market
-Desus & Mero

etc. etc.

Anyone else a fan of this network? And if you are, what shows do you like?

I just watched the first episode of Hate Thy Neighbor last night and I was blown away at how stupid some of these racist folks are out there in this world. Gonna watch Episode 2 in a little while on the Black Israelites.

Also the one with the Indian guy who smokes weed.

Matter fact, there's 2 Indian guys who get smoked out on 2 different shows.

Love this network, just since it's so new the programming has to catch up.

They also gonna show another show from the U.K., that "docucomedy" style about the 2 rappers / radio station.

I was talking to my wife about this episode last night. I was telling her that I thought it was brilliant to have a comedian be the host of the show. Having snippets of his standup as a recap of some of the conversations is a good way to break up the seriousness of the topics being covered. It's SO uncomfortable to watch, but Maddix's humor is definitely needed.

He made an interesting point...Maddix was saying that there were times when hanging out w/ Dan that he actually forgot that he was a Nazi. Then the conversation they had at the end was SO powerful. Stark contrast compared to the tense conversation he had with dude outside of the Klan bar about the same topic of mixed-race children.

*Also, you're spot-on in your description of Dan's wife. She's bat **** crazy and has no teeth.
 
Pretty much everything but vice essentials and those skate shoes.


And I'm not surprised at how stupid racists are, hate and stupidity go hand in hand.

Yea that conversation in the car he's having with Dan at the end is strong as hell.

Also how he explains that dan had this missing piece somewhere and how that hate / direction filled it.

He didn't think he was a bad dude, just wrong path.

His wife is def Bat **** crazy.

This also sorta proves that hate is taught :nerd:

I don't know if you caught it, but at the end of the episode when they're showing Dan reading to his kids, one of them is snuggled up close to Maddix. It was an intense hour of TV...an hour of TV that got my blood boiling. Yet, I still had a hard time processing who Dan really is.

They would play with him and stuff.

But that dude he met from detriot, the leader, man **** that guy.

The way he would avoid calling his group s hate group :smh:

I feel for those kids, man. :smh: The wife is just flat out despicable. Some of the off-the-wall **** she was saying was pathetic. No rhyme or reason for her hate.

Also, the pastor seemed like he was holding out some hope for Dan to turn it around.
 
The wife talkin bout she thinks there needs to be a genocide though, smh. And the kids don't really know any better which pains me to see adults teach children to hate and that hate is ok.
 
ive come to love the vice channel. a lot of quality shows and variety. the channel is a good way to be informed, but also catch a good laugh

It was like motif throughout the whole show: we all knew how they really felt about Jamali, but they wouldn't say it to his face.

They would be courteous to him, and then call him a ****** when he wasn't around*.

Makes you think...

*On another note...man those dudes from Detroit were so dumb, it was embarrassing. They were like a whole bunch of can't get rights all in one gang.

-They let the Jewish camera crew in their secret meeting.

-The leader's hot mic moment where he kept calling Jamali a sand ******

-Ol' boy's explanation of how Asian people were cats, and black people were primates.

-AND they couldn't even get the damn swastika right.
 
Didn't get through the whole episode, but I watched about 5-10 min on the Black Israelites. Another group of dummies who are hypocritical. How are you going to shun multiculturalism but have a FRAMED picture of Bob Marley in your offices??? :lol: :smh:
