Rumored Holiday 2017 - Black and Red Jordan XI NON OG

Just saw the video about Holiday 2017 releases which stated that a new pair of XIs in a black and red colorway will be releasing. My personal hope is that it is a black upper, red patent leather, and a white midsole. Let the speculation begin!
 
If it ain't the OG black/red, I ain't copping. I tried picturing the many black/red/white combinations and they seem to be

If this is true, I expect the look of the gamma 11, with red outsole and jumpman, with white pods on the bottom. Jumpman Jordan in red.

Always fun to see the different ideas and concepts people come up with while we wait to see what is actually going to be coming out.. :nerd:

If it looks decent I'll probably consider them, but not holding my breath for that..
 
Black mesh with red patent makes me think of the old hata takashi fakes from 2000 :lol: :x

It'd be dope to see the Warren Sapp red Space Jams, but I highly doubt that just a year after the real Jams.

I'm more interested in the blue pair coming out but I'm interested in seeing what these look like. I might be ok with them being a pass. I believe that video said something about cherry 12s, flint 12s and for sure Nike Air 3s, so there will be plenty of options during that time.
 
According to their release pattern Cool Grey will be next year. It's OG CW, then Retro+, alternating each year. Concord still 3 years out..



I just dont get what they're gonna do with black and red again. 72-10 was just another Blk/Red / Space Jam with a clear sole. If the shoe is primarily broke up into the 2 colors it's gonna look fugazi. There's nice samples, PEs and lows that could be made into highs.. why blk/red?

They already did this with 72-10s.. should have just released the damn Black/Red's and called it a day. I pray every time I wear my 01's.
 
I understand the pattern of 2000-1 release then retro+ but the black red thing is odd. I mean, there is a whole set of untapped releases when it comes to concord type themes with different patent leather :smh:
