I know San Andreas is considered the best and I'd never debate it but Vice City has always been my favorite

Just got the PS2 trilogy on my PS4 and these games were so damn great. It's crazy how much III changed the game.
 
I liked GTA 3, but Vice City is the game that made me fall in love with the series. One of the best soundtracks in a game ever, and some of the funnest dialogue and gameplay. 

As much as I love GTA IV and V for the graphics and modern game mechanics, Vice City and San Andreas were just funner

I go the trilogy around Christmas for ab 15 bucks I haven't played any of them yet but gonna fire them up soon
 
Put so many hours into Vice City and San Andreas...

I know I'm older now and that could be the reason... But Rockstar just hasn't mastered the Escapism they used to have in those games. I can still play San Andreas for awhile doing random stuff until the bad graphics start to get to me. But once I beat the story in GTA V, I just couldn't have the same random fun. The more real it got the more boring it got. The writing is still good but the game is too polished and I can't laugh at the glitchy stupid NPCs like I used to.

Funny this got brought up. I just beat this game again last week. Downloaded it on my iPhone. :lol:

Brought back mad memories. This was the first video game I actually played "like that".

Fun game. Definitely my favorite in the series.
 
I wish i can play Vice and San andreas again.

But for now i just youtube the whole gameplay

Boring life but i enjoy it :lol:
 
That mission for zero with rc helicopter...still haven't beat it.

The gang element in SA was a game in itself, I used to drop everything and come back if someone was trying to take over one of my hoods.
 
the ambiance of Vice City is untouched IMO. i felt like I was Tony Montana running through them streets.

this is the culmination of my SA life.

**** that mission. Grove St 4 Life.
 
Only thing I hated in Vice City is the fact that you couldn't swim, always a nuisance to me. That racing mission was the most difficult to me in SA since the car handling was pretty bad :lol:

San Andreas is my favorite by far. The train mission tryna catch the gang member w/ Big Smoke, flight school, and Zero mission protecting the towers were def the hardest missions for me.
That's what upsets me about GTA V, they killed so much of the fun that made SA what it was. The story was coo but so many things left open-ended in the story to make it fun. And they STILL haven't opened up the casino.

Every time I play Vice City, I compare it to Scarface for PS2.
