But late Friday, Above the Law reported that John M. Gore, a partner at the law firm Jones Day, would be assuming that position. (The firm had posted an announcement of the appointment to its website).
Gore does boast some expertise in civil-rights litigation — specifically, he has considerable experience defending the Republican Party against allegations that its voting laws violate civil rights.
As BuzzFeed notes, Gore defended controversial redistricting plans pushed by Republicans in Florida, New York, and South Carolina in 2012.
He also defended Florida governor Rick Scott’s attempt to purge his state’s voting rolls of non-citizens, shortly before the 2012 election. A federal court later ruled that Scott’s measure had violated the National Voter Registration Act, as it purged many legal voters from the rolls, most of whom happened to belong to left-leaning constituencies.
white people are all rejoicing in silence right now
What was that about voting again?
Cats gave long essays about why taking part in the political process doesn't do anything.
They're about to find out how wrong they are when they find out that wearing a kufi can get you profiled by a cop with visible "SS" tattoos.
This election has given us Jeff Sessions as AG and this guy:

smh...nt never seizes to amaze me
aint nothing to rejoice about with trump
white people are all rejoicing in silence right now
i don't know what Alex Jones sees in this man...
white supremacy and america go hand in hand. america as we know it was built and established upon the system of white supremacy. like my man greg popovich recently said when asked what black history month means to him, "If u were born white u automatically have a MONSTROUS advantage educationally, economically and culturally..." this quote from pop is pure #FACTS and it is a direct result of systemic racism and white supremacy.
i do understand that white supremacy stems from FEAR of being erased from the planet genetically since europeans or so-called white ppl have the recessive gene (lacking melanin) while us so-called blacks have the dominant gene (melanated), which means if "black" ppl keep having sex at the rate we are europeans will eventually cease to exist. especially considering when a "white" person breeds with a "black" person, the result will ALWAYS be a "black" child.
in essence, as long as the current power structure remains white supremacy will continue to thrive. it is a matter of survival for "white" ppl.
He sees himself in Trump. That fat piece of **** is a low key racist.
I agree with this.
I used to try to correct things like that too to ensure that they were not generalizing all of us as being that way. But I found myself trying to argue semantics more than the actual topic.alright don't take it that far. The backwards white people sure. Those of us who aren't racists are maybe not scared per say like some minorities are and such, but we aren't happy with what we are seeing. These are the groups of white people you see protesting and other forms of demonstrations.
63% of white men, 53% of white women voted for him. 48% White people between 18-29 voted for him.
This is why everyone thinks you are a race troll.
And then you whine when you're called a bigot/SWS/troll
