Super Bowl commercial reaction thread

Commercials were all trash. Nobody takes risks anymore, and pretty much every joke falls flat.

I don't even watch the commercials anymore. Fell off big time. Plus, commercials are time to get food, drink, and use bathroom. Only commercial I kinda likes are the Tmobile/Sprint ones.

Very forgettable this year for super bowl commercials. Was there even a Budweiser or Doritos commercial?

Uh, you do know Anheuser Busch is Budweiser, right? And they had one of the more "controversial" ads during the broadcast (because that's what passes for "controversy" these days in advertising). I think it aired in the third quarter.

Yeah I think I saw part of it where I heard somebody say..

"Go back to your own country"

This is why it was controversial. It wasn't the fact they portrayed an immigrant building his business in America. It was the fact they felt the need to toss in a scene of someone saying "go back to Europe". They just threw it in there to tug at heartstrings. We're talking about literally the biggest beer distributor in the world. Nobody is feeling bad for the founder who may or may not have had someone randomly yell "go back to Europe" as he was walking down the street.

Too many commercials tried to invoke feels this year. Felt forced and cheesy

The "live" snickers commmercial with adam driver was almost as huge a dissapointment as the falcons.

Actually the falcons was a 100 times worse but still that commercial sucked

Worked during the Super Bowl. My republican friends on Facebooks reactions ranged from "add X company to the list of sponsors I'm banning" to "enough with the political garbage! This makes me sick!"

I'm assuming there was something about equality in an ad?

Nah, my g. You're off on this one.

It made People look internally and it shook them up cuz they know how ****** they act towards other immigrants.

Don't want politics, but are totally fine with being inundated with pro-military visuals.

Seems legit.
