Jim Jones interview w/ Funk flex, spills guts + Cam Response

wayne was always one of the best on cash money

he was on every other song and hook

he was just as much of a game changer as dipset

bling bling, make it rain, drop it like it's hot- made these phrases up plus way more

his mixtape run is untouchable

carter 1-3 super impactful

and most people who run the game currently consider wayne their favorite rapper which people always try to gloss over or make it not mean anything in their mind

Kendrick Lamar said wayne was his favorite rapper which didn't even need to be said by him cause he sounded like wayne for a while early on

chance the rappers favorite rapper is wayne and you can hear similar bar setups early on in his songs too

plus many other artists who know how impactful wayne is to the game

Little Wayne isn't even a positive role model for children. He smokes weed, sips lean, and degrades women.

Jay Z wears suits and he doesn't even smoke weed. And he has a wife and kids. He's a family man. Jay Z = Bill Cosby

Derail

Wayne dumb nice. C1 & C2 are classics.

But ain't no damn reasonable doubt or blueprint. Other than though....:nerd:

Wayne trash. So much garbage in every verse with a few nice lines. Trash, trash and more trash. He's the perfect example of how far Rap has fallen off and when it became acceptable to put out trash

Juvenile and BG were way better

Under no circumstance was Jim EVER better than Juelz, and he wasn't NEAR santana in popularity. Also what people forget is that During there run Juelz was dropping music & freestyles at a rapid pace. Son was flooding every mixtape, Street DVD, & features.

He is in the same vein as Wayne as far as his skill goes, he's had bars that read ridiculous but on the song it worked & worked very well. However they could Easily step it up when need be and could hang on a track with anybody.

Jim changed da face & style of hip-hop after POME... Juelz did no such thing.

POME is better than anything Juelz has ever done album wise, and Jim had waaaaaay better solo series mixtapes.

After Jr Writer 6 min Hot 97 freestyle thought that fool would go triple platinum oh how times have changed

Really? Nobody from Dipset ever went triple, hell nobody from dipset ever went double. Their little movement can't be denied but their success seems to be overstated a lot.

G-unit >

cuz in NYC Dipset was arguably more popular than G-Unit... problem was G-Unit was truly a national and international phenomenon...

Dipset should've toured with em.

Nothing was bigger than G-Unit in NYC from when they started getting hot around 02 until they fizzled out around 05 when The Massacre dropped.

NY had already started turning away from 50 because he was acting like he's god after the success of Get Rich.

Dipset had a movement and was popular but was never on the level of G unit.

What's was that 50 cent line to jadakiss?

"Yea homie in New York ****** like your vocals,
Buts that's only New York dog, yo *** is local"

What does being bigger in NY mean when there's 49 other states and over 100 more countries? Even with all that said dipset wasn't bigger than G-unit in NY.

Facts...G-unit had ****** young as 10 buying cap guns, spray painting em black, and carrying them to school so they can rap 50 lyrics and bust a shot in the air

Anybody that slights Hov....you slander . Can count on it 10/10 times.

Dipset was more popular than G-unit

50 was so hot at the time....that anything associated with him would sell (plus the Em coalition). G-Unit as a collective, isn't really remembered like that.

Beg for mercy was cool. Banks, Buck, Game and Yayo did their thing....but once 50 pulled the plug, everyone except game couldn't survive.

Santana and Jim ate big time without Cam. Buck, Banks and Yayo just fed off of 50. Let's also not forget the trends dipset started (pink, ed hardy, trues, Bloods, etc). G-Unit was led by a swagerless dude.

Dipset's impact and popularity >>>> G-Units record sales.
